What do you play more these days? (PvE or PvP)

Whatever I feel like really.

Yeah same, I currently took a break from PvE because it has become a solo experience, which is getting old pretty fast. I joined a HA guild and I'm fervently collecting fame/glad points. Especially TA is big fun imo, lots of different funny builds (except spirit spam, that should be punishable by something bad). I will most likly start PvE-ing again when I feel like something fresh but first I want a glad title and a moose ^^.

Ok, so fair enough im still playing the game on and off. I've spent the last few days playing RA for glad points, and occasionally running my Gimmick invinci monk to get people angry because I find that fun. Since there isnt much else left to enjoy in the game, i'll carry on doing that.
*Entering RA with an infuse/Illusion of weakness monk*
Series
I chose both evenly. I went a month or so playing GvG and such almost exclusively, now I am back in PvE for the moment.

Riverside inn is exclusivly PvE. Any PvP-related thread gets moved to Gladiator's Arena.

I've found PvP to be primarily uninteresting for the majority of the release of Nightfall. Actually, I found Nightfall pretty uninteresting.
I don't really care to see PvP make a comeback, and pushing the whole ATS thing just seems desperate, as I don't think any serious players would take Hero Battles seriously.
But whatever, enjoy if you do.

anyway, I posted links in Gladiator's and Campfire to get a more accurate number.

The majority of my playtime in GW is spent death levelling in Pre-Searing while AFK. The majority of my real playtime...is spent doing PvP in a different game.
simba-dimba
PvE for the most part.
cosyfiep
no testosterone...no need to pvp. Really bashing another person isnt my style, its waaay to competitive for me---I play to relax not get my dander up.
so pve ONLY. (I have made some pvp toons just to check out the armor!)

I used to play PVP almost exclusively with the exception of making a PVE char to give me something to do in between PVP/have cooler shit to PVP with. Would PVE for special events/chill and have fun. Since they refuse to skill balance this game on a regular basis, and PVP has gotten stale and boring, lately I've been running around in PVE more, but even thats getting boring.
So for poll's sake I chose option 4 as it was the most accurate.

To all of those who go:
I dont like either...
Just checking the forums...
I refuse to play an unbalanced game...
Anet has to fix the game...
Blah blah blah.
Why in the world are you even posting? Seriously.

Boring, awkward, elitist playground are some of the terms I use to describe GW PvP.

Casual PvP in Guild Wars is definantly no longer my style. For instance: I don't like how I can only bring rock, hoping I don't run into paper and praying I face scissors. No matter how long that I've been playing, that's what it all comes down to.
As for PvE, it's somewhat the same as what I've listed above, except that you know what you're going up against. You configure and put together the build, test it out, if it works you win. Simple as that. And then you can go online and tell your build to other people and they win, too.
Another problem that gets me in PvE is the still horrible enemy AI, something that I had hoped would be improved with Hard Mode. Example: "Cool, you ignore the Warriors and go straight for the casters. That's good! That's what I would do. Now why don't you go for the Minion Master instead of his minions and knock down ten birds with one stone?"
People still love to play Guild Wars, though. I admit that I do get satisfaction from trying out a build with my heroes and having it be a success (it's not enough to encourage me to vanquish the whole area, though. At least not anymore). And I, like many, still love the good old feeling of going through an area and killing every beastly monster in sight. I just wish it took more, you know?
Sorry I had to rant, but I got about 2 hours left before class. Not a whole lot else to do right now...maybe I'll go get some Pop-tarts for lunch (well it'd technically be dinner now, so...)
Toilet Oni
Primarily PvP(GvG), when i'm not gvg'ing i farm or do HB
ThunderStruck
Primarily PvE, but I play a bit of RA and HBs occasionally.
The Bard
mostly pve, occasional farm, try to AB once a day or something, whenever i have time
Qual
AHHH ! Guru is a PvE paradise O_o
Well, I am mainly into PvP, but I do play PvE as well and enjoys it !

Jumping Is Uselss
I play more pve because I've been farming titles recently
Nurse With Wound
I'm playing pvp and pvp only.
Bread Fan
I play both PvE and PvP although not in Guild Wars yet a much better game called WoW. Anet destroyed PvP and I left a sinking ship. It's to bad they had something great going on for them but they lack PvP representation (they have absolutely none). I think Guild Wars PvE is EXTREMELY boring and fail to see why people play an on line game with no interaction with others while in your own instance, except of course your party members that is if you have any because of the heroes and henchmen.
fenix
Why post Bread Fan? You say that Guild Wars PvE is boring, yet WoW is simply grind. Grind + more grind. Posting about WoW on these forums is a bad idea, because you are begging to be flamed. I recommend editing, and changing it to "I don't play GW much any more, I got a little bored of it."

It's actually pretty ironic. I hear people gloat about GW being a "grind-free game", yet most of the people I know are grinding all of GW's long, arduous titles.

No thanks I will keep my post as I like. I never got bored so much with Guild Wars it was that I got frustrated with no communication or development in the PvP aspect. Gaile is all to concerned with the PvE and blacks dyes etc and beats around the bush when addressed about PvP issues. Even when Izzy was asked about some PvP issues he completely sidetracked it. The skill balancing in GW has always been horrible as well. Anet worries about the QQ'ing PvE players trying to make the transformation to PvP and destroys what once worked.
Another thing is I seen Gaile post about Fathers playing with their children etc. They want to know about it and you will recieve PRESS COVERAGE! Just another way to promote a quickly dying game. I think this was a completely pathetic attempt at sparking interest and drawing players. Anet will stop at nothing to try and sell a few more copies... Perhaps they should ban more "supposed" botters. The innocent ones that get banned have to go out and buy another copy! GENIUS!
P.S - ANother thing that makes me laugh is people GRIND excessively for ectos and other items to get l33to expresso FoW armor etc. Thing is it is still the same armor class as everyone else...That is a great reward...Hey look at me I have extremely expensive armor, it's just like yours except it has a couple of more spikes on the shoulders, NICE! I like the idea in WoW where one actually gets rewarded by a random drop etc, takes the staleness out of the game, although I don't find the game to be stale at all.

I try to balance, maily urgoz runs and Ab/HvH of late...i cant stand mid level PvP (HA pugging, TA, HvH matches) I find HvH tournies and GvG much more enjoyable beacuse you generally get a better quality of people
