What do you play more these days? (PvE or PvP)

Anyway I chose Pve with some pvp on the side, I like pve the most but sometimes I feel like doing some AB.

I guess I could've elaborated:

I don't play GW a whole lot these days. I have gotten on occasionally to farm or to try Hard Mode with my heroes. When I PvP it's mostly just faction farming in RA.

I voted: "I try to play an equal amount of both" But could you remove the "try to" thing? Because I don't "try to", I just play both.

I try to do both, however, I've been PvPing quite a bit lately.

well it is try to play an equal amount, not try to play both, hehe... kinda doubt your time is perfectly split in half between the two modes O.O

PvE has never held any interest for me.

In the early days, I would on very rare occassions engage in some GvG, just to be sociable and when Factions came out I AB'd enough to donate 35k faction, only because I felt pressured to do so.

In point of fact, Factions and this pressure to FF (just to satisfy some guildies' egos, so we could "own" an outpost) caused our guild to eventually fall apart, at least that's what I attribute it to. It still exists but is pretty moribund, with only a handful of us still playing with any regularity.

Don't play anymore, just hang out on the forums occasionally... check on the latest whining, so to speak.

Mostly PvE for me, but also some Aspenwood (Kurzick) and sometimes an Alliance Battle or RA.

Jeez - if GWO is even MORE PvE then this ....


After almost two years - still almost PvE exclusively. That is since they bloody refuse to fix Aspy.

PvE exclusively. I did PvP for a time, but I always get really bored fast.

I chose option #2, since I do AB and occasionally RA, pretty much for Faction in both cases. I prefer the PvE aspect, though, because that's how I see GW - it's like Diablo 3 to me. When I want competition, I play FPSs, Racing games, Strategy, etc. I just feel like PvP in GW is kinda like trying to add "full contact" to chess or M:tG - it just doesn't work for me. Boring, awkward, elitist playground are some of the terms I use to describe GW PvP.

I picked No.2 as well, then again I'm not playing as much as I used to.

Both equally, at least I try, as I want Pveers AND PvPers in my guild to be happy.
However both equally do not equally both at the same time.
Before the HM, we were in a PvP frenzy.
With the introduction of HM and ATS, wa quite switched from PvP to PVE.
So we have some periods of each kind of play rather than a little PvP with a little PVE.

99.9% PvE. Only do some Random Battles when I need Factions for a skill I can't access yet. Although, since I just unlocked every location in the game I don't think I'll ever have to return to PvP now.=P

I play large amounts of PvE for a few months, get bored, and play large amounts of PvP for a few months, get bored, and start all over again

Beggining to get bored of PvP which is sad because I'm in a nice AB/FFF alliance (GdA tehe lol) So i'll probably have to abandon them and find some nice PvE guild lol

90% PvP and 10% PvE.

PvE is getting boring. Having to run the same missions for 8 characters is -_- tiring.

99% PvE since I used to do some GvG trainings for other guilds a few upper tier ones but since PvP went pansy a$$ and monkey see monkey do and OMG i cant play without seeing what the other guy is doing that took all the skill outa it for me. So now all I do is PvE except when I get asked from friends for PvP which is very rare since they quit the game for the same reasons.

I PvE 99.9% of the time. There have been several times in the last 1 1/2 years of playing the game that I've given PvP a whirl. The last few times of which I was drunk so I guess that's what it may take to get me to play PvP.
