How do I get into Alliance Battles? I just reinstalled GW after being away for years and RA was just as much fun as I remembered. And Competative Missions (Fort Aspen, really, since Jade Quarry never runs) are pretty fun as a change of pace. But how do I get into Alliance Battles? Do I have to be in a guild?

Yes. You have to be in a guild thats is alligned with either Kurzick or luxon.

Can't he also be guest passed into a guild?

Usually guest passes last 8 hours, so I guess just ask in the major towns and ask to be guest passed so you can AB.

Yes, you can get a guest pass to go play alliance battles. Just go to your host guild's hall and talk to the AB guy there.

Bugging someone to guest pass me in to AB when my standard mode of playing GW is to log to play some RA for half an hour in between having a life sounds less like something I want to do.

You don't have to join a guild, form a guild of one, align with a faction, and AB away to your heart's content!

just join a guild, it should take you all of 10 seconds to find one in shing jea.
