Kephkets's Refuge

ok so apparently kephkets refuge, the green monk prot staff is incredibly easy to farm, as kephket is easy to get to and relatively easy to kill, and sometimes even drops two staffs, but ive killed him about 6 times now without seeing one drop. i even killed the guys surrounding him, sent my henches far away, and killed him myself, and nothing dropped, so i was wondering whats going on? ive been farming a while now and ive only ever seen a green drop once, and it wasnt for me and im getting a little frustrated at not seeing any drop. my primary farmers a ranger, so if any of you have advice on builds for farming with a ranger, and good spots or bosses to farm, id appreciate it. thanks.

Give it time...i *think* the percentage chance of a green drop on a solo run is about 2 to 2.5%. The chances of getting one yourself are 1/8 that with a full party of henchies.

I could be wrong, but that's my experience - about 1 in 40 to 50 runs will drop a green when soloing, i'm sure others have more accurate figures.

The only time i ever predictably got a green in less than 20 runs was the Factions triple green drop weekend.

Try 20-30 runs. If you don't get a staff, that is still quite normal. Kephket is pointless to farm.

I thought Kephket had one of the higher green droprates?

ok they are like the scar eater there are more of that staff then actual players. just go buy one for 2 or 3k.
