I've been running a 1 hp BiP in Urgoz a bit lately and was wondering if anyone could give any tips to tweaking my build. The current build I have been using is as follows:

[skill]Awaken The Blood[/skill][skill]Blood is Power[/skill][skill]Order of Pain[/skill][skill]Consume Corpse[/skill][skill]Well of Blood[/skill][skill]Aegis[/skill][skill]Heal Party[/skill][skill]Rebirth[/skill]

I've noticed from my use of this build that I never needed to use either Heal Party or Well of Blood. I'm wondering if HP in a BiP build is a bit obsolete now that monks can use Healer's Boon. By the time HP can be cast by a necro, a HB monk could already use a HB that can almost always top off all bars with a 1 second cast. Well of Blood also seems like a waste since the only damage monks can't really prevent is from hard spikes that hit before HP can be cast, in which case the health regen doesn't really make a difference. The only real effect from a well that I could see is the use of a corpse that the MM might need. I welcome any suggestions that may increase the efficiency of this build.

Necro/Paragon
Blood: 13
Soul Reaping: 10
Command: 10
Motivation: 10

Blood is Power {E}
Song of Power
Aria of Zeal
Fall Back
Leader's Zeal
(some form of resurrect, suggst Signet of Return for reusability)

BiP as it stands is +6e for 10 seconds
Song of Power is 4e to anyone (including yourself) in earshot for 15 seconds or if you use a skill whichever is first.
Aria of Zeal is a 4 energy return for all within earshot that uses a spell within 10 seconds
Fall Back is 8 seconds of 33% movement for you and anyone within earshot and if you are moving you gain 12 health per second
Leader's Zeal is you get 2 energy back for every ally (including yourself) within earshot (max 11)

You have 2 open slots to suit you

I have been using this build successfully in The Deep. Since chants and shouts there aren't strippable and the environmental effects don't affect them.

BiP alone has always provided plenty of energy by itself in my experience, so I don't see the use of using Paragon secondary to do more of this. I have played with this a bit more and ended up in dropping Aegis and adding in Heal Area to assist with any MM. Quite frankly, I think that having BiP, Consume Corpse, and a hard rez, nothing else in the build matters.

Actually after trying that paragon build its exelent for the deep. specalized for the environmental effects and such there. My build is designed for tombs, and most other builds will work almost anywhere else.

Thanks Coloneh for the feedback.

Archon you say that BiP by itself is enough energy. It is definitely enough energy and I use it during a battle. Think about between battles. Let's say that I have to BiP everyone in a 12 person team for some reason. That would be me sacrificing 363% of my life and 55 energy for 6e regen for 10 seconds. I can't BiP myself obviously. Song of Power however has no sacrifice and can "BiP" every party member within earshot for a 4e regen for 15 seconds for 25 energy. AND it works on the BiP as well.

Actually no beause there is so much degen in the deep that would make running 1hp frustrating at best. One run we had to rez the bip (1hp) like 30 times. It made the run longer by about 30 minutes.

The purpose of me starting this thread was to discuss 1 hp BiPs in Urgoz, which sacrifice no health. There is a separate thread in the Necro section that discusses Deep builds for BiPs, which cannot be 1 hp. If you had to BiP every single team member between battles, Song of Power would be a good choice, but in Urgoz, you only have to BiP the Ritualist and Trappers (if they are trapping) between battles. It really isn't a question of how many people you can give energy regen to, but a question of how many people that NEED energy regen you can power up.
