Kurzick or Luxon?

Hehe, ignore Marty. It doesn't really matter. Both sides win ABs 50/50 and you seem to be worried about going through the plotline, so this is my advice...
You can do either side (though Kurzicks seems to have slightly more people, so if you need to PUG the first missions through you might have a faster time finding a group on the Kurzick side). On the other hand, Gayla Hatchery mission on the Luxon side is easier then Eternal Grove, the Kurzick equivalent.
So they both have their strengths and weakness.

Hmm, So what I'm starting to see is:
Go for whichever side you want... it doesn't really matter?
Here's a few factors I thought of:
1) Guild
2) Seeing as i never really see friend of the luxons, would be cool to get 1st teir...
3) Kurzick Elite Mish is kinda hard to pass up since Ima Ranger currently...
4) i find Kurzick AB some of the most fun I've ever had, even though I lost ALOT...

Again lemme say I'm eventually gonna do both for protector of cantha

You don't really have to make a choice. Whatever side you have more faction with at the time is what side who's merchants you can talk to and whose armor you can craft. That's it. You can go back and forth anytime to do quests/missions (ie, once you reach Gayla with 10000 luxon faction, you can spend that faction and then get more Kurzick faction and then play Gayla whenever you want).

Well, this is my opinion, and just how I feel.
I am currently in a Luxon guild, but I wanna be in a Kurzick one, and if you read about Kurzick culture you will find their are very organized forest dwelling people, they believe in tradition, law, and obviously have strong faith in the Gods (Who doesnt in these times). Which is what I believe in in life, law, order, tradition, and so on.
I am not fully advocating Kurzicks here, the fact the Kurzicks believe in having classes and houses for order and so on, you give one man almost too much power, and makes plenty of room for plenty of corruption. While when you look at the Luxon side, you see sea baren people, who roam the sea and transfer goods, good strong hard working people, who in all actuality almost have no true classes or leaders, they may have captains and generals, but no Godly figures for them to bow before other than the turtles, which is due to faith, they still believe in the five Gods though. So I see the Luxons as free men, men without law, you can be a Luxon and seen as a free man, that is why I call Kurzicks dogs, obeying their masters like good little pets, while as Luxons can be seen as pigs due to their rugged lifestyle. So thats just my opinion, I have found a home in the Luxon ways, as I myself take this dang game far too seriously, lol.

Personally, I would go with the Kurzicks first. Mainly because they give you more than enough quests to earn you the 10k faction you need (and as a result, you can get to Eternal Grove quite quickly). The Luxons don't give you enough quests to get all the faction you need, so it will take a bit of grinding to get the remaining coupla thousand faction points you need to take the Gyala Hatchery route.

(I'm Luxon, did both sides). The only hard part of the mission that I've ever found was the warrior boss, and dust trap/throw dirt kinda takes care of that. As for Gyala: gogo splinter barrage....

Haha,
I do plan to end up on Kurzicks, Meerly because of Fort Aspenwood. That Ab is SO fun playing Kurzicks... Never tried it on Luxon though.
i guess it would make more sense to do Luxon 1st.. Doesn't really matter though...
That's interesting, So you would enjoy playing Kurzicks just for the Roleplaying side of it? makes sense, although some of those Kurzick Missions are a B****
I more meant that the only Green items that Urgoz drops are all bows, so even if I do the mission to the end, there is a good chance that if I do
get a drop, it is very beneficial to me. Pretty good situation seeing as Trapping also works well in The Deep...
