Paragon glitched?

I want my paragon to hit my enemies. No matter how close i get to my enemy, my paragon still throws his spear. Is this a glitch?

And i'm looking for a helm like a spartan helm/Greek helm like one of those guys in the 300 Movie. I can never find one. Is it on the Eye of the North game?

If you're carrying a range weapon, your attack is ALWAYS a range attack.

If you have a spear equipped, he'll keep throwing them.

No idea about the helmet. I do know that Eye of the North hasn't been released yet, so it can't be there yet.

The Paragon only throws spears, and never pokes people with them.

paragons don't have "helms" - unfortunately...instead Paragons have "crests" which sit in the middle of your head obscuring your line of sight.

Spear in GW was never meant to be a close range weapon. I doubt GW:EN will change that, but it would be nice to be able to switch to melee style.

If you want to bash things and look like a spartan you could try making a warrior and experiment with the armors.

Paragons dont even have spears, they have Javelins. If they had spears it would make sense for them to have 80 armor.

This is where GW screwed up in naming weapons... the spears they have now should be called javelins, because that's what they are.

Sounds like you want them to remake all the physics of this game.

Go warrior secondary and use a sword. Then you can hit and stab to your heart's content.

Javelins are a type of throwing spear, so the word "spear" isn't exactly wrong. However, ANet could of been more precise.

Spears are a two handed weapon as well and used much like a staff.

that's funny, I could have sworn that virtually every weapon available to paragons has 'spear' in it.....such as banded spear, nightmare spear, Eshau's spear, Toshau's spear, etc

Yeah they might be spear but they should be Javelins skills not spears.

well, fantasy world. They can call them whatever they like. Also, who's to say the elonian word for javelin isn't "Spear"?
