new character help

I have gotten out of school and just purchased nightfall...I have played GW previously, owning other two games. Years ago, I played ranger and warrior, and almost beat the Nightfall faction with ranger (did not make any new char in nightfall yet). For some reason, Im getting bore of ranger, even though i can continue develop her or the warrior, i want a new challenge, a character that can easily catch my intereset and make me "deeply fall" into this game again.

I have tried making Nec (she is lvl 14) and a monk (lvl 10) but im not too sure about them...does anything have a suggestion for a character that can do well in farming as well as the end PVP?

My personal preference is ritualist, but it all comes down to taste, really.

Warrior, elementalist, and monk all make for good playing, solo farming, and team farming. As for PvP, that's a whole new story. You can take anything into RA and AB and it doesn't matter, and for more coordinated PvP you'd want to roll up PvP-only characters with sets of perfect equipment anyways.
