I don't think this behaviour should be encouraged, your game bugs me when i play more than 1 hour and this is the best player in gw for anet. Beign all day online is not something to encourage. Nothing vs Java, i just think a mmorpg should encourage fairplay and cooperation more than this.

XD. A-net think people care what this guys daily routine is O_o. Anyway i agree with you to an extent. "If you play 24/7 you get a friggn long article on you on the website" seems weird eh? :P espically with the "please take a break" things.

all I can say is it really explains a lot about the average PvPer.

It sounded more like a joke, but I'm sure many people just eat, sleep, and play video games. I could not do that. I don't like how ArenaNet encourages his type of play, even though they only show how he plays through the mention of SP. I fought him in HB during the ATS testing, he used the gimmick A/W;N/Rt;N/Rt;Rt/Me spirit spamming. He wasn't very friendly, either. He had Rose of Izzy(?) pm me when I used the run cheat, and wouldn't talk.

heh my post in itself was completely neutral. it could mean good or bad.
but really, notice it didn't say all PvP people, there are some good ones. just the average kind of PvP person you come across. average PvE people have faults too, but they're different faults. this guy is an example of the average pvp guy, and I simply pointed that out. The main thing is the watching CNN to get mad at the world before playing, something the average PvP person must do, with how much trashtalk and negative stuff they do.

I've taught Guild Wars in a college English class. It was the focus of a lecture I gave on narrative in graphic arts. A few students were players too, though I didn't know that until a few days before the class. We even met up in the game once (an odd experience, akin to a professor in the 1950s meeting students in a bar). I myself have been playing for almost 2 years now, mostly PvE.

I wanna see release dates of GW:EN on the GW site not about some guy who is good at hero battles . Congrats on being good at battles but does it really need to be on the front page of GW ?

The front page does not cater solely to you, but instead all aspects of Guild Wars.
