Hey, i was just playing Guild Wars one day and my sound cut out and never came back. I tried buying a new sound card, re-installing guild wars ( 5 times lol ) and configuring all my sound options in my computer to every combination possible and still nothing anyone got some helpful advice???
( and yes i do have sound in guild wars turned on i'm not stupid lolz )

just turn the sound hardware off in the menu's.I have NO idea why it does this however.

Sound hardware off in what menus and yes it is only guild wars other games and my music and movies run fine.

reinstall sound card drivers?
START > RUN > DXDIAG > SOUND TAB
START > CONTROL PANEL > SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES > check everything in there and choose the test hardware option
RIGHT CLICK on MY COMPUTER > PROPERTIES > HARDWARE > DEVICE MANAGER > look for any exclamation marks or question marks
START > RUN > DXDIAG > SOUND TAB
