I´ve heard alot of LEEEEERRRRRROOOOYYYY JEEEENKIIIIIIINS especially when someone says "wammo".
So who is this Leeroy Jenkins. Is he fictional. Prehaps a legendary player(like Witte Was or Rahtcoh)?

He was a character from World of Warcraft, who, completely ruined a teams plan of going into a high - level area.
He was AFK, getting a chicken sandwhich, while the team discused tactics. When he got back, he automaticly ran into the area, shouting Leeroy Jenkins, completely ruining the teams plans, and getting everyone killed.
This is what the majority of Wammo's (W/Mo) do, hence Leeroy Jenkins.

They did a live-version of the sketch for a recent video games awards, involving all the players in an office block lift discussing how to make their office routine more efficient. Then Leeroy comes in and screws around and charges into some poor guy standing by a desk (if I remember correctly).
He didn't originate in WoW. He originated in Ultima Online but was made legendary in WoW by the video (above) which was produced as a hoax to make fun of people/guilds who over-think their gameplay. Leeroy Jenkins, the UO character, was probably named after Leroy Jenkins, the jazz musician.

the video was defiantly planned for a few reasons
first of all, the guild is all paladins, with the guild names Pals 4 Life
also, that instance (which the name slips me, it's been a year since I've wowed) has whelps that spawn when you run into the rookery. Thing is, those spawns are easily avoidable.
Either way, the video is funny, and proves its point.
