I currently own all three of the Guild Wars games. I played Prophecies, and quit when I got to Lion's Arch. Then I started playing Factions. I LOVED it. I thought the environments were great, along with the missions. I ended up beating it. Then I played Nightfall. Once again, I started to play, but then I just didn't really like it. So, so far, the only campaign I've liked is Factions. This seems to be the opposite of everyone else's opinion. Is it just the fact that I didn't get far enough in Prophecies and Nightfall to appreciate it or what?

You may want to press on with at least one character through Prophecies & Nightfall. Lion's Arch is only about 1/3 of the way through and the best parts of each chapter is when you get to the level 20 areas. There's lots of good stuff once you reach the Southern Shiverpeaks (not that the stuff along the way isn't quite fun, since the jungle is pretty neat) in Prophecies. And Vabbi & the Desolation are fun areas of Nightfall.

Possibly, you just prefer a faster pace. Factions speeds you through beginner and has a shorter mission trail (only 13).

Yeah, well right now I have two characters. I have an Assassin (Factions) and a Warrior (Nightfall). I decided that I'm just going to use my Assassin to beat Nightfall, and then I'm going to create another character and beat Prophecies. I'll just delete that ol' warrior I have. This time, I'll keep going through Prophecies. There's got to be a reason why so many people say it was the best campaign.
