I'm getting my fow helm finally and I'm wondering what everyone prefers for their helm (+str/tac/weapon). I know its obviously a waste of a point from helm if you're not going to be using that attribute with your build, but is the +1 to weapon or strength or tactics really going to make that big of a difference? And if I'm tanking in FoW HM or some other elite area will having a +1 weapon helm would be a waste or make a big difference between a +strength or +tactics helm?

I think it depends on how often you play with a pick up group. FoW/UW and HM; I would never make a warrior play a dedicated 'tanking' build, I would want that warrior swinging their weapon to make stuff die. However the average pug would want a warrior who can sit there and soak up damage while the other party members do the killing.

DoA is probably the only area I would consider running less than 16 weapon. And because of that, I have no interest in playing there.

take the helmet for your favourite type of weapon. if you use another weaponmastery, or do a tankingbuild, you can always get a collectors/regular crafted helmet and just hide it. I never show my helmet, i like my warrior better without helmet, so i don't have that problem ^^

I'm basically going to reiterate what RotteN said, get a helm for your most commonly used weapon since that means you'll be able to use it most of the time unless you're doing some special farming build or w/e that requires a higher tactics/strength than normal

Well since I switch my built very comonly I use a +1 strengh/Tactic helm, simply because its less complicated. I already carry 5 pairs of glove each with a supperior run, I don't need 5 helmet too ^^:

Halmyr... wouldn't you achieve the same thing with 5 different helms, with sup runes in them, and 1 pair of gloves instead? you'd still have the same rune flexibility, except you wouldn't gimp yourself by retardedly running unnecessary Strength.

On topic, take a +weapon helm for whatever your most commonly used weapon is, if you wanna wear your FoW helm a lot.
The situations were you'd rather have higher Str/tactics, you're likely buried under too many monsters to even see your helm...

Weapon mastery all the way, tanking sucks

I think it all comes down to personal preference.

I use the +4 helm for all of my other character because its simpler.

I use the glove and helm combination on my warrior because it give me greater flexibility, well from my observation anyways. I do all my farming on my warrior, and can recreate almost all built with slight variation no problem.

Plus the helm is were I always have my vigor rune

I am thinking of getting weapon mastery helm if I can fit it on my budget always a bit short on cash.

I'd get a weapon mastery helmet, one of each would be good, but if you're not one of those rich buggers with 800k in storage just get one that will get the most use.

I'm pretty certain that +1 strength is the most universal one you can take.
