B. Equipment
1. Weapons
The optimal weapon set for these builds would be a sword or axe with +20% longer for enchantments and a shield with -2 damage while in a stance/ +45hp while in a stance, but almost any non-vampiric, non-zealous weapon set should get the job done.
2. Armor
The optimal armor set for these builds would be Radiant Insignias. All armor must be max. Some areas may require armor to be Infused.
III. Chest Running Locations
I will add more maps when I have time.

So chest running is the thing to do nowadays? I haven't played GuildWars for about 4 months... and Chest Running seemed to be pretty dull.. it's coming back in style? Nice

Great post man People have been chest running for as long as the game has been around. It's not the "in-style" thing to do now because it was never "out of style" to begin with.

I'm not sure about that. Chest running has always been a viable way to play the game and go for titles & goodies.
Personally, I consider this guide to be a professional's reaction to some other CR guide that was no more than a table of contents without the contents
Very nice work. Thanks to the OP.

Charge! is better than Charging Strike in the last warrior build, unless you were going for ease of capture.
Nice job on the guide.

Nice job on the guide. Charging Strike is 33% all the time. I run solo, so "Charge!" doesn't help me a lot.

Whoa how about not over using Assassins!
Monks can run with a Derv secondary and Warrior secondary.
In reality I only see 3 professions, Assasssin, Ranger and Warrior.
If you want some help I can post a few monk running builds.... or just look in one of the other chest running threads.
I'm not being mean, its just u haven't offered a varity in builds. By your methods Assassins are the only one who seem able to run. You change one maybe 2 skills and then flip the professions, when clearly there still an Assassin with one or 2 assiant skills.

The whole point of Charge! is that it isn't a stance... thus is can be combined with stuff like balanced stance...
cellardweller
Almost the same as yours, but I use the following build when running poisoned outcrops and put the same builds onto Koss and Goren. They are very good at overlapping thier shouts so I very rarely have to charge myself, and they never die unless they get bodyblocked somewhere.

And Avatar is right Charge stacks with speed increase stances.

why hold the quest "defend droknars forge" for chest running?
Arnack
For the first Dervish Running build do we need any sort of vigor rune?
Arnack
Also, for the first D/A build, I don't see how you can have 10 in Shadow Mastery, even after the 2 attribute quests you would still only have 8 in shadow.
Arnack
Actually I only have 4 in shadow arts even with the 2 quests... help?

That was a typo, there's only 9+1+1 Mysticism. I'll fix that.

Why do you have no sup runes when all your builds use Shadow Form? That or i've just been running around near HM Rain of Terrors too much and that damn 13s Mind Freeze... Oh and Storm Chaser is useless as far as the R/A goes, Shadow of Haste all the way. SC really doesn't help at all, useless for breaking agro. dies like fish

You can use superior runes. I use minor runes because I use the same armor for other builds.

Use the advantages of a 55 monk with SB, or even the mirage cloak of a Derv, since the running spell would come from there, to assist SB. royal mercenary

Realm of Fiery Doom
Wow, very good and informative guide
I like the maps as well - they help a lot chadamir
I dont see how the Mo/R could work. 3 of them are stances. What is the casting order?
DarklingKiller
Cast Serpent's quickness then spell breaker. Quickly hit storm chaser and run off. When storm chaser is wearing off, use dodge if needed.
chadamir
As soon as you hit storm chaser, serpents quickness will be disabled.
Edit: Ok I found a similar build and that you're supposed to use the running while serpents quickness is recharging. Do you recommend fighting enemies by chests or trying to run solo and get everything? pnumm
Does anyone have a good chestrunning route for the Maguuma Jungle in HM?

I was away last week, sorry about that.

Do you recommend fighting enemies by chests or trying to run solo and get everything? Serpent's Quickness affects the recharge of Storm Chaser too. I run solo; it's a lot easier than trying to find a way to kill every mob. Gimme Money Plzkthx
Do you actually make money off of this? And I assume it is for normal mode only?

It's pretty easy to make money chestrunning. All of the builds with shadow form and dash can run in hard mode too.

And now the qaster question.. which one do you think is the best one?^^

Best place? Lately I've been running a lot in Poisoned Outcrops in Hard Mode trying to get an Elemental Sword. No luck so far. I get some good drops from Nightfallen Jahai and Raisu Palace.
Ahellio Nanje
Id like to make a couple requests for 2 chest running locations
The first location is the sulferous wastes starting from Remains of Sehlaja. On average you can get 3 chests in about 7-8 minutes time, without having to get out of the junundu worms, and of course you can go with hench. Alotta times theres a chest by the Hakjor boss group so elemental swords are possible here. Dead Swords, Dead bows, and Sephis Axes are also possible where the chests spawn by the undead groups. All in all a fast run with the possibility for very nice loot. The 2nd location is the quickest chest running location that I know of in DOA, and that's in Ravenheart Gloom. This is a pretty slow chest running location, but the drops are almost always golds and of course the possibility of high end loot including ele swords is the best here, especially in hardmode. about a third of the time or so a chest doesnt even spawn though so patience is a key. If there is a chest it usually spawns on the western end where theres the shadow groups and demon groups moving around. Shadow Form is a must for this area, especially in hardmode, and I recommend bringing a hero to recall too but shadow of haste works too. I'd really like to hear of more fast chest running locations, especially in factions. Lets hear it! FrAnt1c??
I occasionaly do runs in the jade sea area with my ranger. Starting from zos chivros channel, usually there are 2-3 chests, that drop jade swords, oni skinned weapons, depending wether the chest spawns near a group of oni's or naga's.
royal mercenary
shhhht people are starting to forget that the item depends of the momnsters around...
