Funny Hero build (water)

I needed to finish the Hell's Prec bonus on one of my chars so I decided to take heroes and get it out of the way. The first thing I tried was to use a normal nuking build and use winter with them, but the heroes tend to use winter whenever it is ready and I didn't want to be bothered with only having it active about half the time so I switched to water...Then I tried Ward against harm which is mostly worthless with heroes since they don't know that it helps them to stay in the ward...

Then I used Zhed, Sousuke, and Norgu as Water Trident spammers..

Builds were something like this

E/Me
Water 14
E Storage 9 or something
Inspiration 9 or something (whatever these work out to)

Me/E
FC 8
Water 12
Insp 11 (or something close to this)

They all used the same skills
Water Trident
Ice Spikes
Shard Storm
Water Attune
Frigid Armor (the + armor is wasted since nothing uses physical in HP, but the no burning was very helpful)
Mantra of Flame
Power Drain
Res Sig

It was pretty funny. They killed the Titans/sparks very quickly (Armageddon Lords were a joke - only about 3-4 seconds and they were dead) and killed the Hand/Fist of the Titans failry quickly as well. The really good part, though, was that the Hand/Fist of the titans could never even get close to my group (I didn't bring a tank). They would just get repeatedly KD until they were dead. It really made the bonus easy.

Anyway, it could probably do well-ish in other places where there are lots of melee monsters.

Problem is, if you are not a monk character then you have to put up with hench monks which really don't cut it. Though if playing an ele, norgu can be cut out for Tahlkora ^^

I don't see why people run ice spikes, I'd much rather bring Freezing Gust or Deep Freeze.

that is kinda funny. i can imagine it looking like you're just beaning dudes in the head and they fall over.

that's usually how i play my mesmer in pvp (whatever build currently makes me giggle the most while playing it).

i've been meaning to mess around with [skill]tease[/skill] and [skill]recall[/skill] or something for that very reason.
