Question about GW
Thief_Garrett
I'm wondering is PVp and the rpg separate? Like i think WOW is PVP and RPG at the same time right? But I was playing the trial of GW Prohecies and I was just wondering. Also is there a site or something to help introduce me to GW?

The majority of the PvE and PvP are seperated, however, PvP does affect PvE in the form of favor of the gods.
If a team from your area has the favor of the gods (which is gained by winning battles on the battle isles), assuming you're in the same area as them (America, Europe, Japan, etc.) you gain access to high level areas that no other section can explore at the same time
hope that helps!

PvP and PvE (role-playing) are almost completely separate with the exception of the regional 'favor' system that Firebert010 mentioned. If you're a PvE player, you're not obliged to do PvP and PvP events will have little effect on you and if you choose to PvP, PvE will not affect you. Nothing stops you doing both, of course.

Technically pvp also affects PVE in the Factions campaign by way of merchants and alliance faction depending on which side controls the area you are in as well. But Alliance Battles are thought of as 'less serious' PVP and the battle lines only limit what you can do right there, you can always merchant in another town. The only actual limitation I can see this having is you may need to wait to buy 15k armor depending.

RPG is the Type of game that is being played, and has no standing on PvE or PvP accept for the fact that neither Pvp or PvE could exist without RPG games!
RPG stands for Role-Playing-Game. A role playing game is any type of game in which you use a "character" to play through a storyline. Common features would be loot or gold. Like, Diablo 2 is an RPG game.
As far as the difference between PvE and PvP, I think the three before me just about summed it up
