Gwen's Cape Help

Okay, so I completed Gwen's quest and got her broken flute. I then got her a new flute and she started following me around. I gave her a bunch of red iris flowers, but I was never able to give her a small girl's cape. I have one, but I can't give it to her. She also appears to be already wearing a cape, so it seems that she already has one, but I would like to get the tapestry shard from her. I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if I'm just missing something. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I remember I had that problem a while ago. Basically what I seemed to hear as a concensus was that Gwen would update whenever you went into that explorable with someone else. So if you partied with someone who had already given Gwen the cape (or gotten her flute), yours would update to that version of Gwen. In my case it happened when I asked someone random to help me get the rez signet

I think giving her the cape is for the whole account. I had given her the cape on my first guy and then when I started new ones, she always had the cape. I'm pretty sure tho, that if you keep giving her the flowers, she will give you the tapestry shred. It just takes a whole bunch more flowers.
