Life after beating Guild Wars Campaigns
ajmorgan25
After you beat a Guild Wars Campaign, what do you do to keep yourself busy? I find myself farming a little bit. But lately I've been getting into PvP, which I thought I would never do. I also went back to Prophecies to go through all the missions.

So far after completeing all 3 games mission paths
Maxing Sunspear
Getting Protectors
Lightbringer and Legendary Skill Hunter are next
Also my ongoing quest to Max storage due to fears that the monuments in GW:EN will cost to put up and of course tring to find last few % of Cartographer's

Titles ^_^
You could also farm and get rich, then buys art pieces and whatnot. Maybe start a guild.. You know, there are tons of things to do in GW after you beat it.. But mainly I'd go for Kind of a Big Deal Title Track...

I'm doing pretty much the same as everyone else has said, going for titles and trying to save up some gold. I'm also helping a friend who just bought Factions and Nightfall.

I am keeping myself busy a lot with gathering gold and wealth (trading, farming) and spending it again at heroes and items. Equiping all heroes with greens, major vigor and primeval armor costs a lot. Buying titan gems also costs a lot, so does the 15k armor.
Although, since the hardmode changes to the economy, it's harder to get income.
Also I have been working a lot on cartographer titles.

I go out more, take my girlfriend to the park, shoping, dinning. Go to the pub and gigs more often, update my portfolio for a new job, learn to drive. And I play other games as well, while I'm waiting for GW:EN to come out.

tbh i just finished nightfall the other day for the first time.
pvp ftw >.>

After beating GW, it is time to move to PvP.
RotteN
GvG ... the game is called "Guild Wars" after all
ajmorgan25
Now that a lot of you have said it, I might have to look at getting some titles. Right now I got Canthan Cartographer 60% and Sunspear ____ Rank.

There are some amazing places to see while you explore. That will take quite a bit of your time if you are thorough.

Take on some titles to work towards.
Explore areas that I skipped over or had not fully admired since I was running through to clear out for explorer title.
Save up some gold to have spending cash ready for GW:EN
Finish playing Zelda:Twilight Princess
Finally get my butt in line and get back to practicing my guitar.
Take a break from GW and play something else so I fell refreshed about GW when GW:EN is released.
It summer! Go swimming. Spend time outdoors. Get some sun for a decent tan.
I live in the north, so when winter hits, I will be inside more often.

well lets see.........
besides what already has been posted
-----if that is done then
besides what already has been posted
- make another character and DO IT AGAIN
(repeat until all x are done)
-----if that is done then
- help others finish quests/missions/capping.

A lot of you guys said that you are saving up gold for when GW:EN comes out. I thought you couldn't use your gold from the previous three Campaigns on GW:EN. I read it some where on this site.
deadmonkey4u
PvP all the way. Perhaps a bit of farming on the side
GD Defender
Elite missions, PvP, and a bit of farming now and then.

I think you are a bit confused....Gw:en is the expansion for the frist 3 chapters set to be released sometime later this year and will require you to have one of the chapters to play it.
And gw2 is the new game which we may or may not be able to shift stuff over into and wont be released for another year + (or 2 or 3....)
We will be able to not only use our stuff for Gw:en but our current toons as well.
reddswitch
Yea, pretty much pvp and farming. Repeatedly doing quests or missions is dreadfully boring. I'd do it to help guildmates or someone who looks like they'll need help.
I consider working on titles last. Mainly the treasure hunter and wisdom when I work up enough money.

I roleplay. Yes, I know, most of you probably think "ZOMG RP U IS NEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD" but hey, it's something rather fun to do. At least give it a shot. ^_^

Also you can make more characters and play the storyline again.

placebo overdose
well sadly i have been playing less and less over the past 3 months and what i recomend is this try to find an aspect of the game that is fun not profitable or 1337 just fun and if you cant time to think about a new game or new hobby

Here's what I do to keep busy:
-Alliance Battles
-Solo-farming ecto's, golds, etc.
-Teaching other friends/guildies how to solo-farm
-Titles
-Shopping for vanity-wear (high end armors, tormented gear, rare weapon/shield skins, etc)
-Helping friends and guildies with assorted quests and missions

I think I might start farming again. The only thing I hate about farming, is selling the items. It's so hard to sell stuff, even if it's good.

Titles = goals so what not set one

I have beaten all 3 games now on different chars, so yeah... My main thing right now are my 3 main chars, My ranger who is working on Urgoz, my Necro that I AB with and mission around with and my other Ranger who is half way to survivor 3...
I think it'll take me a while before i have done everything in this massive game

haha shameless plug aside, i haven't even "beaten" prophecies yet. damn school taking so much of my time (can't even remember the last time i signed onto these forums lol).
ajmorgan25
Yeah...I haven't beaten Prophecies. I beat Factions, and I'm in the Realm of Torment in Nightfall (which sucks, the end of NF has pretty much ruined the game). But I still haven't beaten Prophecies. Don't know if I ever will, didn't really like it as much as the other two. Factions is still the best though IMO.
