also i want to know about skills like meteor shower, does foes get knocked down twice as much if 2 MS is cast at the same location, thx
Cebe
Yes, Sandstorms stack.
And Meteor Shower could knock down more if you cast 2 in the same place, assuming your foe has got up from the last knockwodn

Yeps they stack and to works wonders when they do. Combine Searing Heat and Teinai's Heat and you can deal some Serious damage! add a snare and another AoE spell and the mighty Mobs fall before you

Now,also take this same conclusion and realize somethings that won't stack like hexes, are just replaced by the stronger version of the hex. [skill=card]Mark of Rodgort[/skill] on a ranger compared to the same hex by an ele, for example. The ele would more than likely have the stronger version, and thus it would be replaced.
This may be known by more experienced players, but I thought to bring it up since it proves relevant to this line of discussion. Also, it may prove more beneficial to your cause to use the 2 spells on adjacent opponents in order to get maximum overlap from the spell in question. Tactical casts make for a dangerous magical display.
Best way would be to try to form overlapping AoE damage in the form of an infinty symbol, 2 interlocking circles, in order to get maximum spread and give minimum run space for your enemies to escape through.
