Where is everyone moving to?

university!!! ahahahahaahha, might play some FPS games, ET quake wars!!!!

Only few I've seen or heard leaving are just waiting for GW:EN and GW2, otherwise business as usual for the hardcore folks. Nothing so depends on one or two skills being slightly adjusted to make a real gamer quit, so no big losses here.

I am moving to Tetris.

I've been playing more Scrabble since the SR nerf. And Kingdom of Loathing, which is always good for a laugh. At the moment I'm not interested in GWEN with my crippled Necro but I'll see what this SR change brings. Still have to play with it more.

A couple of my friends have become incredibly inactive. I myself am bored with the majority of the game as well. I'm not "pretending" to leave like many PvP players claim to do when in-game changes are made. (What, you expected the game to never change, and all skills to remain the same?) I am just bored with the current content of the game, and it would appear the bulk of my guild roster is, as well. It'll be a long time waiting for Eye of the North (Which, by the way, I am excited for.) Though, I've no intention to get GW 2. To answer the topic's question, I have been playing some multiplayer LotR: Battle for Middle Earth, Heroes III, and Starcraft, simply because I'm just bored with GW, and enjoy a good 6 hour RTS match.

Personally i cant wait untill GWEN release and offcourse in the future GW2! I deleted most of my characters and made 1 character where i want 25 max titles with! That will keep me busy To bad i cant transfer my 7 free char slots to other peoples account for some Cakes and beers |

GW is my only online game and I'll stay with it.
I'm not looking for other games I will start to read books again to fill the woid till GW2 comes out.

I'm not going anywhere. GW still rocks, and still a lot to do. High-end area's like Fow, Sorrow's Furnace and Domain of Anguish I still need to explore/quest for the largest part.
For now I'm trying to get some resourses (gold and rare materials) to have a nice start with GW:EN. Also working on titles.
I have to mention that I don't even play for a year, so there was and s still a lot to do for me. 3 continents is quite a lot.

I hear Pirates of the Burning Sea is going to be awesomesauce, and Fury
Then when it finally comes out Starcraft 2 is going to rock.
Personally, I'll be moving to real life. Despite the limited PvP options, it has amazing graphics and incredibly realistic character interaction.

I'm definitely waiting for Fallout 3! If they capture the feel and environment and gameplay of Fallout 1 & 2, it should be worth it. I have Fallout:Tactics, which I need to reinstall on my new computer, and that's pulling on me.
I tried GW: Nightfall as my 1st foray into MMO, though I did do a trial of WoW and a few others, none of which really did it for me. GW, tho, hooked me. Partly because the character models are pretty cool. Partly the need to think about a build, and get skills that will work for it. My own personal quirk: I really avoid buying magic weapons and so on, unless I need an armor mod. I like exploring and finding things.
I love RRPGs, and one thing I haven't really found is the roleplaying in any of these. I have tended to do the heroes/henchies-thing because most people I've run into are either really hardcore, and know their sh*t, and I'm still learning (never was a button-pushing console gameplayer), or have just been unfriendly to a noob.
It seems that a lot of the skills they have for most classes are pretty useless. Noone uses them. There's only about a dozen or so that really work well, and get used by almost everybody. Me - I try to use the odd ones because it seems more "in character" sometimes. I have gotten bored with my Necro MM, and am exploring some Blood builds.
But, back on topic: I do enjoy GW, and have spent about 95% of my "free time" playing it, progressing my different characters thru Factions and Nightfall. (I've not finished either because "beating the game" as fast as possible isn't my thing. I like the story - and seeing how different classes have to use different approaches.) I'm curious about GW:EN, but am looking for a more Roleplaying system than what I have found so far. Unfortunately, almost all of those are single-player games (Morrowind - which is still my favorite!; Oblivion; Baldur's Gate; and Neverwinter Nights; and Fallout.)
I prefer Nightfall to Factions, primarily because the Missions in NF aren't timed "hack & slash as fast as possible" bloodfests that Factions are. I like to think about what I'm doing, try to find a better position, use my skills creatively, and not just mash buttons and try to blast my way thru. Maybe I'll find a good guild, one that enjoys the character and thinking aspects of the game, but haven't found one yet.

Ah, 2moons does look interesting - finally something with a high rating lol hopefully its good.
Its weird hearing this question, I wasn't planning on moving anywhere but I was pretty bored. I think I'll give into my way-back goal before I stop much more in wait for GW:EN. And thats to play an ele I like through..hmm.. probably... Tyria. After that (prob be a week or so) I saying good bye until a good update triggers me an earily return or GW:EN comes.
GW is still a great game, but for us here, we're just burned out with the same ideas after 2 years, and I'm not quite sure what to say about some of the balances, especially the soul reaping changes.. its been said, I won't say more, but damn...
Anyway hokai bia`~~

I moved onto Sword of the New World. http://www.swordofthenewworld.com
Its in free Open beta now, but the game is essentially done. The American version has monthly fees, the Singapore edition is in English and has no monthly fees. The beta is free and the game should be out in retail in July.
It's got a lot of the best of guildwars involved. I'm really enjoying my time. I dont think the game will capture my attention as long as guild wars did (the game appears to be 3/4 of teh size of guildwars), but I'd rather level a new game than frigging alliance battles.... (which I burned out on grinding a year ago)... Basically it looks and plays a lot like Guild wars would if it was a MMORPG, and has many features that are promised for Guildwars 2. Its worth a look... and you'll get at least a month of free gameplay if you download the beta now, so its no cost to you for now.
When I'm ready to move on... Age of Conan looks strong.
Starting a year later than everybody else in Guild wars taught me that you need to start soon after launch in an online game. Heroes asent sucked when you run into the buzzsaw of lf R6++ IWAY right after getting there, and you were up against people who had 12 months to get that fame before you. PvE sucked when ectos had already been nerfed several times, people had tones of "griffin farm" and "pre Aoe nerf" loot and you were starting from scratch. (Pity the poor people who start today with loot scaling).
Anyways, I'm actually looking forward to Guild wars 2. I trust the company on some things and I distrust it on others. But, since the game is not linked to guild wars 1, It'll have to win me on its own merits, and if I'm doing something else at the time... I'm definately not starting after launch.
I'm not looking forward to GWEN. Why should I buy a product that the company anet appears to have no faith in whatsoever... launching the advertising hype campaign for GWEN with the "GW Expansions Cancelled" article that dismissed Guild wars and hyped guild wars 2. It just looks like a turkey, and I've moved on, save for at-work message board trolling and in game friendslist chat.
EDIT: I too am looking forward to fallout. I dont want Oblivian with guns, but i'd probably play that anyways. But thats not coming out for a year, maybe too. In the meantime, I cant stand to play my nerfed necromancer knowing that they never fixes the issues with the class, it'll always be a 2 gimmick character thanks to pvp, and I'll still have to deal with a silly timer that nobody wanted.

"So... where are you moving? How many people are sticking around for GWEN? How many people are anxiously awaiting GW2? if you're leaving, what would make you stick with Guild Wars?"
LOTRO + 2moons for the first one, I might get GWEN if it dirt cheap and I have nothing else to spend money on. As for what would make me stick around, I daresay that an official apology for the complete and utter failure of the SR nerf in addition to the reversal of the damage done to the necro class might get me back.
Am I going to get GW 2? Not likely.... The same devs that did NOTHING to fix their mistake in regards to the SR nerf for months on end are working on the GW 2 game.
Soooo, eyah - LOTRO, 2moons, and pirates of the burning sea, maybe.

I still love GW, but I haven't been playing it very much recently. What with assignments and exams and finally getting around to finishing the first two Fallout games (I'm not gonna play Tactics... Not really a fan of the strategy games) in anticipation of Fallout 3... although it's not coming for another year. I'm just hoping that it stays faithful to the first two. The same adult content, and the same leveling system and interface. Hell, I wouldn't complain if they used the same graphics as the first two.
So yeah, Fallout 3 is on the top of my list for anticipated games. I'll definitely get GW:EN when it comes out, and I'll look into GW2 (though I would like to try the game out first... like get into the Beta test or something). But for now I'll be playing Fallout 2, and then maybe looking into some of the older RPGs. Ultima 7 would be nice to play again (my all time favourite game) or maybe fill up Baldur's Gate with mods and play through that.
My friend let me install Oblivion on my computer the other night, although when I played it I was sort of disappointed. It didn't really compare to all the hype it's been getting from my friends. I mean, it was hard to control, the graphics weren't all that great, and I couldn't kill the emperor when I met her in that first dungeon. Of course, I was incredibly drunk at the time I tried it, so I will have to give it another go. Of course, you get the option to play a lizard (which really appealed to me, especially in my drunk state), so that almost makes it worth it to play through, despite the other flaws.
I'll still be playing GW occasionally. I don't think I'll reach my goal of having Guardian and Vanquishing titles on my ranger before GW:EN, but now that I can earn the Kurzick title while vanquishing, that's a bit more of an incentive to grind for titles again.
Edit:
Just had a look at this, and it looks kind of cool. The fact that you can play as a muskateer especially appeals to me (although I would prefer a buccaneer or swashbuckler, but this'll do for now). Also, it seems to have some kind of system where you can play a number of your characters at once. That sounds interesting. And it gives you the option of not subscribing (you're restricted to level 20, and you can't trade, but that's almost exactly like GW). Depending on how much subscription is, and whether I actually enjoy the game though, I may consider paying for it.

Hellgate: London looks very fun and I will get that - however, I am addicted to GW and have already preordered GW:EotN and will preorder GW:2, too.

I'm not pissed off at GW or A-net, but I am getting a bit bored with GW. I've played the game for about 2 years now and I think I just need a little time off. I'll still almost certainly get EotN, but for now I'm going to take a break. In the mean time I'm going to be trying out WoW. I doubt I'll get too into it, but it will be something to do until I get the itch to play more GW.

EvE Online is an awesome game. People will come back when GW EN comes out.

I've been reading, and playing various console games on my new Plasma TV.
To be honest I'm sick of the endless time sinks in MMORPGs, and I don't see myself playing Guildwars or anything like it in the future. Maybe if I get into the Warhammer Online Beta, I'll play around with that, but otherwise I'll stick to games work better with my schedule.
I only came to Guildwars recently, after getting sick of WoW. I quit that game due to the high barrier of entry for PvP, and thought I'd give GW a try due to its supposedly reduced grind. Honestly though, for someone new to the game, the amount of time and money required to get competitive isn't really any better in GW than in WoW. Why should I spend 150 bucks and all the time unlocking things when I can download F.E.A.R. combat for free and jump right into some fun, casual team battles?
Best of luck to those of you that stick around, I hope GWEN turns out as cool as it's looking for all of you.

With all the constant changes to GW even the "untouchable" pre, and the big failure campaign Grindfall, with its heros to kill pve and a complete disregard to older campaigns and their serious problems (leeching fort aspenwood? horrible warrior ai?) or PvE in general, i've had it with GW. Been here since 2005, own all three campaigns, horribly dissapointed now. I'm moving onto real life and maybe some of the free Korean MMORPGs... if any of them turn out to be any good. I won't be back for EotN or GW2 after the way GW treated me.

It’s weird. I was so excited about Hard mode, GW:EN, and GW2, I spent all my time hyping everything I found out to my alliance. Then it came…
SR changes, Loot Scaling, and the Armor Stacking change are a step too far. There are ways too deal with them, but it just isn’t fun anymore. It’s like the heart of the game is missing. It’s more complicated than a metaphor, and gets deep into what feels like hypocrisy.
So will I come back? No. Not unless I don’t get into the Warhammer beta. And Anet would need to reverse the above three things, basically admitting that changing core mechanics was a horrible idea.
Will I buy GW:EN? Not likely. I might if I run out of things to do and I want to give my elementalist closure. I’m currently playing all the games I bought over the past 6 months and haven’t played because GW used to be good.
GW2? Funny, I would have said absolutely, but now no way.
So what am I moving too? Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning! I, and my guild, are all warhammer fans. Two of us for 13 years. So there is no question how excited we are. How could you not love the cinematic trailer?

And watch podcasts # 3, 5, and 7. Tell me that’s not how factions should have been! The game looks so awesome!

And am I imagining things? Lol, I swear I’ve seen some of you guys over at the forums I now hang out on, Warhammer Alliance.

I've been playing Alliance Battles lately, they're good for a quick half-hour of GW and then I can go do something else.
I've been playing a lot of Monster Hunter Freedom on my new PSP.
GW:EN'll be fun for a while, I'll stick around; GW has been good to me.
To keep me around, I'd say what is needed is a little more of a level playing field. The gap between the serious pvper and the casual pvper is just too wide (and for that matter, the same goes for the serious pve'er and the casual pve'er); you either get it or you don't, there's no intermediary step anymore. There's no more discovery, it's all been done. Aside from a re-imagining of the game, I can't see any new feature or area being much more than a temporary fixation.

Torn between my wii and CoH/CoV, tb h most of the NCsoft gmes are pretty decent if your looking for something to do - Dungeon runners is always good for a luagh (And FREE!)...hmm some of the problems with other games ive played like EVE (bleh tat was bad) and even my beloved CoH/CoV, I do miss the community involvement we get from Anet...some of the other games seem lacking - I think they need tripple scroll weekend

Ummm, I left back in Feb when I realised how dreadfully dull Nightfall turned out to be. Currently playing WoW and loving it. Looking forward to Bioshock, Mass Effect and SC2.

I've quit gw now
Playing BF2142 only to kill time while waiting for....:

I just think Anet needs step it up in EotN and GW 2, or else I'm quitting. GW is fun, but nothing lasts forever. Good show Guild Wars! I got quite a lot out of ya but sadly you're not so great as you once were.

Morrowind. When i get my computer upgraded so morrowind doesn't screw up the resolution to 800x600
Right now I've kinda gotten bored of GW a little. Still fun though, however still can't match morrowind.
I only got GW to fill the massive gap (7 months) between morrowind screwing up and when i upgrade my computer.

Shot online and various other games with my bf. Looking at how the Guild wars has declined from something with so much potential in beta to what it is now in Pve and PvP I'd have to be really convinced to whether I want to spend anymore on Anet's products.
Looking forward to Hellgate and Tabula Rasa.
Anet would have to do major updates and overhauls in both areas of PvP and PvE for me to want to purchase GW:EN at the moment.
