I'm working for on the Friend of the Luxon title line, so can some one tell me what is the most efficient way to get it?

I'm currently doing AB and FA. I guess quests are the best way, but I can't stand doing them over and over and over again.

SO waht do you think isthe best? AB or FA?

Is that so? Thanks for the answer.

Well, I guess I'm in for more kurzick hit 'n' running.

Is there any efficient PvE way to gain faction?

Yeah...I did it by AB. That was definitely the worst part of Factions. 10k Alliance Faction Quest sucked.

A Fast Faction Farm (FFF) team heading into Melandru's Hope out of Lutgartis Conservatory can grab the 400 faction reward for the repeatable quest in a minute or two. It's amazingly effective, but mind-numbingly boring. You've been warned.

The Luxons are not as lucky in this regard. Their counterpart quest in Mount Qinkai has its four locations spread much farther, and while it is possible to solo run the whole place it takes much longer (4-10 minutes, depending on your profession and setup) and there are rarely enough people to do a group run.

As a Luxon, your fastest faction gain options are:

1. Alliance Battles
2. Fort Aspenwood
3. Jade Arena (Archipelagos), Luxon Supply Lines (Archipelagos) or Scout the Coast (Mount Qinkai) repeatable quests
4. Farming things with the new blessings up

Of the above, AB is currently the most efficient... though if you figure out a farm run that nets you more with the kills, do let us know

Grab your local Necro 55 Spiteful Spirit and head out Zos Shivros Chanel. You must have "Halcyon Job" quest available. Run takes about ~5 minute going solo. Kill all 26 sins that spawn and the 1 sin boss and resign. Rinse and repeat. Good Xp, decent amount of gold drops and you get 520 Luxon points each run.

*hint* Gather up all the sins and lead them up a flight of stairs so they're all bunched up. Cast SS on 1 of them and make sure to keep whacking the hexed foe to keep him swinging as he triggers SS. You'll know what I mean by all this once you get there.

Anyone come up with any good Kurzick runs yet?

Yes. I made a thread on it in the Farming section. 6 bosses around Eternal Grove explorable, 100 faction a minute (ish) on NM, roughly double on HM. Plus its a good source of greens, tomes and scrolls.

There is a decent Luxon run using the blessings in hard mode. Leave from Leviathan Pits into Gayla Explorable, grab the blessing and go take out the outcasts attacking the Luxons. Then head to the East over the bridge and up the side near where the Rhea's Crater gate is. You'll hit an assassin boss pretty quick. Keep going north to the Necro Yeti, then turn back toward the building in the middle of the map where you can take out the Ele boss (he's tough in hard mode). Then, there is a small island on the Southwest side of that building. Swing south and around it to the west where you can take out the Mes boss, and then another Ele boss. (Pull carefully here cause you can pull major agro if not careful). Then swing south along the wall and there are three more bosses (I think, maybe just two), but hug the east wall until you are close to the bottom before cutting over to reefclaw, because the outcasts sometimes kill him. 8 bnosses gives you 2000, plus a lot of kills in between (although you won't get full credit for the assassin fish.

^^^ What he said. Silent Surf might be attractive too, but you won't get to kill everything. I think my Vanquishing counter was at 200, but I has killed my 150. There is too much infighting, and you will miss killing some bosses. Plus, the patrols in Silent Surf are seriously insane in their overlaps.

Once you approach the ele boss, a couple of outcasts start fighting him. This takes his eye of you long enough to put some shutdown on him (daze for example, also if you have a MM those minions will divert attention away from the team at the point he finishes with the outcasts).

For the rest I agree, good run.

I wonder why none of you mentioned the duel of the houses(kurzick) and the jade arena(luxon)
the fastest and PvE way to get factions... and now with the improved blessing you get even more than the regular 400

Jade arena runs are about 5 minutes each for ~500 faction. Meaning ~6000 luxon faction (and some gold+exp) an hour.

Well if you are on kurzick side there is the A New Escort quest where you can get 12 kills per min with elementalist or necro 55 ss..the bad thing is that it is a rinse and repeat and you spend 100g per run on only 12 creatures. the good thing is that the exit is near and you dont have to walk very far. I use SS + poisoned heart + Corpse explosion. Very easy run and fast. Killing outside saint anjekas.

Actually the Jade Arena quest run can be done in about 2-3 minutes, you just have to make sure someone has Frozen Soil ([skill]Frozen Soil[/skill]) with them, this way you can do the quest and no one will be able to be resurrected so it shortens the time it takes to do it. I can do this with heroes and hench easily, but again like most quest farming this one is boring as hell. Each run gets you about 475 faction in normal mode with blessing put on as you start from Breaker Hollow, and since you get 150 gold evey time you do quest, you don't loose no money from getting the blessing which cost a 100g, not sure about hard mode though.

Conclusion, if you're not afraid of oni's do it in hard mode.

Arborstone? My friend, I beg to differ. I can assure you that for Kurzicks it is Melandru's Hope, running the Securing Echovald Forest given by Scoutmaster Arne. For the luxons, it is closer, but in the end, with a competent team (as needed with the Kurzicks) it comes out to the Jade Arena quest. With Ab...it's roughly 10k faction every 2 hours. Simply not fast enough. Luxon FFF in the Arena is 10k every 60-75 min, and Kurzick FFF should take 45 min, although with excellent runners 37 minutes is achievable. What mmaters most is team efficiency and communication. A team with vent vs. a team w/o is much faster in the long run. We in Sins can assure you that.

No I'm quite certain Arbourstone is the best faction you can get solo. Running FFF by yourself, the best you can get is 4-5k per hour, compared with 10k per hour doing blessing farms Solo.

Even if you're FFF'ing in a team (and really if you have people to play with, why are you wasting time FFF'ing instead of playing )the best you can hope for is 9-11k per hour when you factor in the 15-20 mins it takes to organise the group.
