Max Shields Found, tactics shields 14, Strength shields 0 !!! Why??

I went on a hunt for a max Purple or Gold STRength Shield.
Found 14 purple and gold TACtics shields, but no STR - Ideas????

There are plenty of max shields that have a str requirement. There are many for sale in the auction section as well as in game in almost every major city, you just have to browse for them.

You're killing the wrong monsters then.

Try going to GW wiki and looking at the strength shields and finding where they drop then hunt there

or use collectors they always have fun shields also farm bosses for greens
