Since it is kind of hard to read your writing I will take a couple of guess here, since it is a new computer you probably still have Windows Firewall (imo sucks) so try disabling it before downloading. Since you probably have Vista on your new computer I don't know if this will work but to disable the Windows firewall on XP is to:
Start->Control Panel->Network and Internet Connections->Windows Firewall->Disable
Also, GW isn't Windows Vista Certified yet, so you may have to wait a little bit longer for that or hope that it will suddenly start working for you after an update (like todays).

P.S. Don't do anything else on the internet while you have your firewall down and make sure to turn it back on after words.

You didn't say whether you had an actual hard copy of the game. If you do, of course, install it from the CD and then let GW update itself when you log in. If you don't, try to borrow someone else's copy of the game - I don't think it even matters which chapter it is, the clients the same. Just use your own Access Key when you install it.

Edit - After reading a similar post in this forum, I'd also ask if you are expecting the program to launch itself after you download it? I'm not sure about IE, but in Firefox, when you go to d/l it, there is a check-box option to open the file with Winzip Executable (which, I think, would run it), but "Save to disk" is the default setting. In any case, you may have simply just downloaded the file and you don't realize that you then have to go to where you downloaded the file to, and run it (double-click it will do).

I'd also comment on your bad spelling, lack of grammar, and absence of punctuation, but perhaps English is not your native language.

Don't disable the firewall to download the game unless you have a router. Vista may have better security than XP, but why leave your computer wide open for attack?

Thats why I said not to do anything else while downloading the client and to put the firewall back up after words. The odds of getting hacked are slim but you don't really want to take that chance.
