i've been hearing of this doppleganger that if you kill you get to like level 20 from level 3 or 5 i forgot... can anyone comfirm this? and if its true where can i find this doppleganger? how do i get there from that old ascalon place

I can confirm that it's all rubbish. I killed the doppel a few days ago with my lvl 14 (or 13) necro and went to lvl 19 because killing him the first time will garner you 51,000exp (1kexp for the mission completion, another 1k can be earned if you finish the bonus). Also only Tyrian characters get the exp for this

Quickiest way: Get a run to Lions Arch (Normall something like Ascalon -> Piken Square -> Yak's bend -> Beacon's Perch -> Lion's Arch -> Temple of Ages -> Sanctum Cay -> Amnoon Oasis then get a desert tour at all the places there)

Elona Reach can be ran however Thirsty River and Dunes cannot, best to get some friends or guildies to get those missions done for you

If you're a first time player hoping to become super powerful from killing this, don't. I suggest you play through the game as it is, doing most of the quests, missions, and whatnot. You'll find yourself to be at least level 18-19 if not 20 by the time you actually face your doppleganger.

Plus, if you're just level 3, you probably won't be able to kill your doppleganger unless you do some lame stuff...and that doesn't really help you get better. It feels like using a cheat code for a game...

However, if you're level 3, you'll jump to level 12 by killing it...

Not only Tyrian chars get that XP... I escended my Canthan char in the Crystal Desert to help me on the way to survivor and I got the 50K...
