30%~ damage reduction, +100 armour, deep wound, insane damage output. Makes a Paragon a real asset to a Hard Mode team.

The 30% and +100 is something like 13/15ths damage reduction for the rest of the party I think.

What to say, good if you can get it

Definitally the newest broken build. I wonder if they are actually going to keep the skills this way?

An effective fix might be to allow characters to pick sunspear skills from only his/her primary profession. Without the warrior sunspear skill, I think it would be a very fair build.

    12+3+1 leadership
    12+1 spear mastery
    3+1 command

Spear of Fury (+20...36 damage, +2...4 adrenaline)
Go For Their Eyes! (+8 energy, 4 adrenaline)
Save Yourselves! (100AL for 3...5 seconds, 8 adrenaline)
There's Nothing to Fear! (15...35% less damage)
They're on Fire! (37% less damage from burning foes)
Agressive Refrain (25% IAS, this thing isn't going down)
Focused Anger (double adrenaline, 3/4 of the time)
Signet of Return/merciless spear (res or deep wound)

non armour ignoring damage from burning foes is reduced to approximately 6% for all party members except yourself. gg. a wammo could heal up what's left, in HM endgame... And amusingly, you're still outputting respectable dps. GFTE may not be necessary. unforunately my paragon has hours and hours of grind before I can imagine doing this at a semi decent spec. I'm luxon 1, ss 7. And I'd need to replace my mule.

The update certainly buffed the paragons, and I am sure that A-net will do something, because the build you posted is definitely over powered. Ah well, not that I'm not going to take advantage of it untill then All I have to do is get R4 in faction.

this is what a paragon is supposed to do! I don't think they will nerf these new skills for 2 reasons:

    1) the +25AL nerf. This means that damage will have to be mitigated by reduction istead of massive armor. Where paragons come in.
    2) I think Anet realized that they have nerfed paragons to near pve extinction due to exploitations, and are trying to fix it.

also to add on phool's post, instead of a res, add stand your ground for the times you don't have 8 adren. Very nice indeed.

Meh, the paragon isn't the only one to get new, ridiculous PvE skills. Taking all of the PvE skills together, you basically have easy-mode for PvE. I mean seriously, chain SoL on a bonder, one of these paragons, and then a bunch of super-powered SF eles.
