Acolyte Singpa and Monastery Scribe on vacation?

I've lost my marbles. . .I mean I've lost my merchant. Acolyte Singpa the merchant is missing from Tomb of the Primeval Kings. . .and I haven't heard from our honorable informant, "The Scribe" for a month. Perhaps they're both on a important mission distributing items to uncharted lands. Hopefully they'll be back soon with news from their journey. I miss them both. If you see them, tell them to send Xunlai reinforcements to the alliance battle grounds as well as to: "Be excellent to each other . . .and party on dudes!"

So yeah. . .theres no merchant at Tombs. . .and no news for a month. No! No! No! There's no reason to live! *Kayaks down rock infested snowy mountain and respawns into choo choo train falling off cliff and respawns riding a bike off the edge of a tall bridge* Seriously though, I wonder if its on purpose and its permanent or if its just not important enough at the moment. Seems like a missing merchant would be a quick and easy update though, since it used to be there.

I think it's kinda cool that Scribe is turning up when there's interesting news to impart - makes the news important.
I...get the feeling he might pop up very soon because...there's a holiday weekend coming...and something interesting might happen....? I can hope...?
LOL! "The Iron Maiden? EXCELLENT!"

Sweet! They brought them back! Thanks Guild Wars team! They even brought a Xunlai to the Alliance Battle spots like I suggested. Keep up the dang awesome work! Guild Wars team has my allegiance. I would follow the Guild Wars team where ever they'd take me!
I am a bit confused though as to why the Bonus Mission Promotion is being given free to people who either buy a campaign or add 3 more new characters to their repituare. Since at this time there is no other way described to obtain these special missions, it would appear that only people who haven't obtained all three campaign or have a desire to spread themselves thin with a mass of extra characters are being rewarded. It would appear that people who have invested in their characters and all the campaigns are being left in the dust. Hopefully what is happening is they are only promoting players to purchasing more GW material at this time and that these Bonus Missions will be available through an implementation of being able to purchase additional bonus content through the GW store once additional material is live. It would be a major downer to be deprived of GW content simply because I have all the campaigns and dedication to my current characters. Especially historic content that is extremely intriguing. I've always been interested in experiencing what the Jade Sea and Echovald Forest were like before the Jade Wind occurred. . . or see what the Poisoned Outcrops was like when it was previously under water as Curator Ruras mentioned. . .or where that inaccessible sunken area takes you at The Scar where the unusable transporter is located. . .as well as uncovering the mystery of the Ancient Weapon found in The Arid Sea (my favorite area in the game at the moment), etc. Well. . .I have to go or I'll miss the next scheduled mission from this year's Dragon Festival (I love the reenactments and props!) Thanks for listening and sorry if this is way off topic.
