Other characters on your account as heroes?

Dunno if this idea could ever be implemented, but i think it would be possible:

The ability to have existing characters on your account as heroes - this would mainly be useful for getting several characters through a compaign at once. They could be customised exactly the same way as heroes currently are if they're invited into a party like that, or played as a normal character, given the same AI and so.

I don't think this would be too much of a bad thing - they wouldn't be overpowered acting as heroes, and it would save the annoyance or general can't be arsed feeling of players who want to get more than one character through a campaign.

Any thoughts? anyone see any problems I havn't thought about?

they shouldn't be allowed to go anywhere that they havn't unlocked. But any missions that they are involved should show up as completed when played as the main character.

i had an idea is to make hero equipment universal so whatever char your playing your heros have same equipment as they are the same "people" and it's you thats swapped so if i give Zhed Rago's Staff he has it when i pick him to party with any character on my account
