I join a PUG :
Me-P/Mo
My Dunkoro Mo/N
Derv 1 d/Mo
Derv 2 d/Mo
Ele 1 E/?
Melonni
Dunkoro
Derv 3 D/?

Anyway we start. Derv1 runs out of the village and aggros everything in sight.
Not long after we're back at the outpost. Ok don't do that. Wait for the others and
don't get the skill until we clear the perimeter of the village.

Round two- Derv1 gets the skill. We stay towards the middle of the village and beat the
two harbingers and margonites that storm in.

Now what, they ask. I suggest we start clearing the village perimeter now. We clear a
few mobs before the group starts pushing towards the bonus harbingers.
I suggest we slow down and try to pull. The Ele is sure she can pull. A minute later
we are fighting the harbinger and five Margonites. Finally its all over and I'm rezzing Dervs

Derv1 "Remember to target the Cleric." Wise counsel.

Pull? Derv1 "naah lets just rush them. Take out the Cleric then the harbinger."
Derv 1 and 2 start their charge. The rest of us follow up or else their dead. Well they died anyway.
Seeing the writing on the wall I flee to a safe distance and wait for the aggro to drop.
Time to rez the team again (with my only Monk skill).
I rez the team again and we all agree to target the harbinger first now that the cleric is dead.
Another charge and success.

Now the good part. We travel down and approach the main path to the NF harbinger.
We clear a mob and get to a second mob. We clear that one.
The dervs are pumped and rush to mob three. Soon, deaths ensue and we get overrun.
I pull back and start targeting the team for rez. They are all beyond behind enemy lines.
Dang. I'm gonna have try to pull and run. Hopefully I can get around them and rez 1 person.
I pull and start taking fire. I keep running being careful to use Leader's Comfort only when
at a safe distance. That actually pulled them away from the team and they weren't resuming position.
After healing up I do it again. This time I create a gap big enough for me to slip through and start rezzing.
Finally after rezzing the group I suggest they wait while I pull. I pull a bowmaster and they kill him.
I pull a reaper and they kill him. By now they're impatient and rush the NF harbinger.
We kill the cleric and the Harbinger just in time.

I got my Master's but man those guys either sucked or really thought they were invincible.

Either way I had an epiphany:
Playing Paragon makes you a better tactician.
With a Paragon you are constantly thinking about the team dynamics so you don't get the red haze of battle distracting you.
You get used to switching from attacking to support asnd vice versa.

Just another day in Elona.

Here have a twinkie, you pass.

UH it is June. Nightfall was out end of OCTOBER.

That means most people doing Nundu Bay either
-failed it too many times
-haven't been there yet
-are running their 20th character through
-did Jennur's Horde and are coming back for it
-are trying for masters only

so yeh...bad time for it.
