Save 4vs4

Maybe there is another thread on this, dunno, it would help if the search function was a bit faster, but anyways. Something is really needed to pimp up the 4 vs 4 arena battle style. I really love what they did to the AB reward system, but on the other hand, excellent PvP like TA is left untouched.

The only (visible) point of TA at the moment is harvesting glad points. OK thats nice, but most people find that too hard, so they do RA shopping. This leads to unwanted side effects like r9 players trying to sync and people leaving 3/4 games. RA is like porn, everybody says its filth, but they all play it.

For a (semi) beginner engaging in RA this is most frustrating, they need a title to have more chance of getting good teams elsewhere. I can remember cases of 30 minutes join-leave-join-leave before I killed my first guy, just because people don't stick around.

TA on the other hand is often pretty empty. So my conclusion is to make TA a bit more attractive for competitive players. 1) it's a fun arena imo and 2) maybe people will make organised teams there instead of that clunky syncing.

Now before you all yell at me RA is trash, and you only go to test builds there, think about what other options there are for newcomers to get into PvP, that would most definitely be alliance battles. No biggie with that, I learned PvP through alliance battles, but waiting 30 minutes to get into a game can get pretty annoying.

So on the one side, people say theres too little fresh blood in PvP gw, but for fresh blood PvP in GW downright sucks, and usually it doesn't suck because newcomers are bad players. it sucks because the system fails them.

It could very well be that what I'm proposing here doesn't interest anyone, but it was worth a tryz.

....what exactly ARE you proposing?

bluntly staated: A good reward system for TA, an end to quitters and syncers in RA, and good PvP for beginners (no endless waits, leechers, quitters and whatnot).
