Help with Nundu Bay Mission

I have been trying to beat this mission off and on for almost a week now. I have tried numerous heroes and henchmen. I used the tips off Wiki but still can't kill the Harbinger of Nightmare. I got him down to nothing but then I was killed while my npc's were unable to damage him due to no holy water. Any other tips for beating him, or do I just suck.

I've only done it in Normal Mode twice (the second time today), but what worked for me was leaving Ronjok before accepting the Vial of Purified Water skill and killing off the Margonites surrounding Ronjok and where the Harbinger of Nightfall spawns. That leaves the Harbinger of Nightfall sitting by itself when you finish defending the village. Once its health is down to half two groups of Margonites will spawn, though I expect from your post you already know that.

As for the problem with dying... just make sure you have several resurrects in your party. It sounds like you know what you're doing and almost won, you just had bad luck right at the last moment. Maybe put a res on two of your heroes to make sure you're not caught without a resurrect (you may need to force them to res you).

Now, if half your party is dead when you go down, that might be related to your party make-up.

Yeah, I kill everyone off before I accept the vials. I go to fight the Harbinger of Nightfall and once I get him to low health, the reinforcements tear me up before I am able to kill him off. I have tried to have numerous healers to keep us alive longer, numerous fighters to kill him off asap. But nothing seems to work for me. All of my heroes have resurrect equipped. This last time they resurrected me, but I was still unable to finish him off. Thanks for the help!

I only had two monks- Tahlkora and Mhenlo. Maybe you're sacrificing damage for healing? I remember when doing the mission with my Dervish today that the Margonites who spawn appear at both ends of the tunnel and then run towards the center. Maybe you could just pick a side and rush towards one group of Margonites immediately when they spawn? You might be able to engage them without aggroing the other Margonite group. You will have to contend with the other group of Margonites and the Harbinger together then (unless the Harbinger follows you), but at least you will have roughly halved the number of Margonites breathing down your neck.

I just had my Derv, Sousuke with a SF build, Tahlkora as a Prot monk, Melonni with Avatar of Balthazar, Sogolon, Mhenlo, Cynn, and Devona. It went quite smoothly.

Since I guess you're a Dervish given your profile, what's the build you're running?

Tip: Damage is good, resurrect is bad. (While using this, your heroes are worthless.) You should focus on Holy Water - fire it as often as it recharges. I usually only take one monk in favor of more damage. Ignore reinforcements and make sure everyone hits Harbinger by using Ctrl-Shift-Space often.

Odurra
Sogolon

Using that, I beat the mission no sweat..If you want, and I won't mind helping, just pm me in game and I'll bring my monk and help you beat it if you can't finish it ^_^

I ignore the Margonite reinforcements, but they make short work of me since I am focusing on the Harbinger. I will try and run it with one monk and see what happens.

I just finished the mission & bonus last night. My boyfriend, his brother and I did it in first go and fortunately did not find it difficult.

Me - Paragon + 2 healing monks and 1 MM necro
BF - Fire ele + zhed (echo nuker build)
BF's bro - Dervlish + zhed (echo nuker build)

How we did it: We basically cleared pretty much the entire map before heading for Harbinger of Nightmare. I usually manually control my monks (with mouse clicks) whilst chanting and echoing at the same time (left hand using the keyboard). Boyfriend using his nuking fire/meteor shower skills (manually controling his hero too) it was fairly easy especially with a Minion Master in the group.

You have mentioned trying the mission with heros and hench., if you're in a guild, or have friends online whilst doing the mission, maybe try asking them for a hand would be helpful?

I suggest you take an MM hero with you, with order of undead if possible
Take him, and any h/h setup is fine
I did HM by myself some days ago. Once you fire the holy water, the habingers go down in seconds. You dont even need to fire the water for 2nd time
