Well my method seems to work okay. Make sure you get all the blessings from all the shrines. Once you have these, run back out to back to where you fought the portal wraiths. Shiro will go as far as the doorway though he can be enticed a bit further out. This way, you can fight Shiro outside but also have somewhere to run if it gets hairy and if people die, you can run away, Shiro will run back in with no aggro, then you can res.
As for team build, a neccie hero with spiteful spirit/insidious parasite is good, plus a mesmer hero with psychic distraction, other interruptions plus empathy is useful. Perhaps also take a warrior, searing flames ele and definitely some healers! I found with my ritualist that the spirits she cast kept Shiro occupied but they won't last long. Minons are also good if they last that long.
And most of all, good luck

Wild Blow / Wild Strike / Wild Throw.
Three magical skills, when used on his Stance Battle Scars, means that Shiro won't do shit for damage.

I also bring a tank that has Wild blow. Before engaging Shiro, I will disable everything except for Wild blow on my tank and then cycle through SV/Insid para using Parasitic bond as a cover...
Like colt 45....works everytime.

Broken Destiny
well heres my method of beating shiro..
when we were fighting him, we killed lich lord. then got the bonus by getting the shrines. This will give you a boost. then you pull him out the door, you're gonna need a warrior with Wild Blow. and a necro with Spoil Vector. you pull him out door, i used myself as bait and as shiro killed me, every1 would attk him. He then ran back when i died. they res'd me and we repeated the routine. we ended up killing him.. after several times of using myself as bait, you also should use wild blow and sv alot or he will aggro battle scars and gain hp himself.
hope this helped you out.

I don't know what to add. I've done GoM with my Ranger, Warrior, Mesmer, Dervish, and Assassin. Each time was either with heroes/henchies or with max 3 Guildies plus heroes. We killed the Lich first, then went around getting all the buffs, and then attacked Shiro. I can't say we used any particular "builds" for it - when I did it with my Warrior I did take Wild Blow though.
The only things I can think to mention would be that we had an MM hero with us (Olias) every time, so the minions could keep Shiro busy while we got the buffs, and we would flag the heros to the shrines, if necessary, to make them stop attacking Shiro, although the two healer Heroes could usually keep up with any Damage Shiro did.
Oh, and as can't be mentioned enough - if you do bring Heroes with you, spend the time and gold to outfit them properly with Runes, Insignias, and weapons.

Works wonders if you can maintain it on him.

If you go with people I suggest trying a bonder with Life Bond on everyone, and two monks both carrying Seed of Life. It will make Impossible Odds much easier to handle. As for damage, SV/Price of Failure/Reckless Haste/Spirit of Failure will make him rather easy, but do know that Impossible Odds removes a hex on him (so you might want to cover your hexes with parasidic bond or cast it again immediately when he uses Impossible Odds).

Can't remember the specifics... but -
A) Provided you ignore Shiro after killing the Lich, he ain't too threatening as you go and cap the shrines for the bonus.
B) If you pull him out the temple, back towards where the portals were, eventually he will reach a point where he will start to run back, then aggro on you again, then return etc. etc. Using this, and by flagging hench/heroes, it's possible to take him out solely with ranged attacks without him ever reaching melee range (Riposting Shadows aside). If doing this, be sure to not bring ANY melee heroes/hench. Wandspike ftw.

Don't Ignore Shiro, pull him to the edge of temple and kill him first, Lich is too lazy to walk up the stair, he simply watch Shiro die
after Shiro's death, go cap the shrine if you want bonus. ignore Lich unless you feel like killing him, he is easy as long as all of you have some form of fire dmg (even dagger attack can reach 60 ).
