Okay, I tried posting this before, but my internet crashed, so here we go again. I doubt the skill I'm about to share with you all will make its way into any Guild Wars installment, but I think it's a rather interesting concept, so I'm going to share it.
This will be an energy based touch or stance skill for the strength attribute so that only warriors will be able to effectively utilize it. First off, here are some possible names for the skill:
Intimidating Glare
Pact of Aggression
Beserker's Pact
Soothing Stance
Warrior's Gamble
Warrior's Thrist
And so on. Something of that nature. Anyway, if this skill were to be a touch variant, it would go something like this: Target touched foe loses x adrenaline and you lose x adrenaline. The foe's lost adrenaline would be greater at higher attribute while the lost adrenaline of the user would be less. So for example, at 12 strength target would lose 8 adrenaline while you lose 4.
Or, if this were a stance, the skill would be radically different. For instance: For x seconds, you gain no adrenaline. When hit with physical damage, target foe loses x adrenaline. When this stance ends, you gain x adrenaline.
Basically in PvE, this skill would be very effective for shutting down warriors and for PvP this skill would shine as a counter to multi-profession builds such as the fear inspiring assassins or any other build that uses some form of adrenaline based combat or support.
