Skills - Keepable?

Sorry if this question is stupid, but I've only been playing Guild Wars for less than a week now. I was wondering if you can have a second profession chosen, and still be able to keep the skills from the other professions that you get from the quests. Thanks in advance.

Yes, you keep them all skills you have are there when you change your secondary profession back.

I think what your asking is if you do the various secondary profession quests in pre-sear or another starter area, can you continue to keep and use those skills even from a secondary you did not choose. The answer is: no. You can only use skills from your primary and current secondary profession at any one time.

Later in the game, you can change your secondary profession. At that point, any of the skills you've previously acquired will become available to you.

Whenever you change back and forth between secondaries, all skills you've acquired from that secondary become available again.
