Need Some Build Help... Yeah I'm A Tank Noob.

Any advice/suggestions for this build? I havent tried it, ive just looked through the skills in the rewards, and put this together. I know it is nooby to ask before i try out a build, but I would like to know what skills to unlock before i use my faction on them. I use a Fiery Celestial Sword (to explain Mark of Rodgort).

Ok, to start with...
Drop Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Shield Bash, Mark of Rodgort and Endure Pain.
Add Gash, and Flail (PvE build, right?), too - and a res sig. Instead of Mark, use Conjure Flame.
Then play around, see what speed buff, or other utility skills you like, and go from there. Btw... Endure Pain sucks. The Ripostes are only of real use to farmers and monks. Mark is far too expensive for a warrior (besides... the ele should provide it ). Oh, and Endure Pain sucks.

thanks, but one question, why does endure pain suck?

Because except in specific builds you don't need the HP enough to waste a skill slot on it. Also, since you can't keep it up constantly, when it goes down you'll be low on health and become an easy target. This is probably what I'd run in PvE if I were running a sword war, which I usually don't. If you want to go down the Conjure road though, you might consider taking Hundred Blades as your elite (yes it still sucks but at least it spreads the conjure damage nicely). If you need a rez (when playing in pugs generally), replace Enraging Charge.

I wouldn't use Mark of Rogorts if I were you that is a lot of energy you are using up.

bonetti's helps me gain energy very easily with this build, but would this work to farm or AB?
Stormlord Alex
Not quite.
It still needs more Flail.
Flail.
No PvE warrior build should be without it.
Hundred Blades... well... sucks, even with Conjure. As Age said, Mark's too expensive to run on a warrior.
And Deadly Riposte and Bonetti's Defense can be hacked, too - take Watch Yourself! for protection, and bring Sever Artery and Gash. With S+M Slash, that bar is crying out for Dragon Slash as the elite.
As for farming... Farmers generally use Earth Magic, but farming builds are a whole lot different to general use Warrior builds - try asking over at the Farming forum.
As for AB... When I can *wand* an enemy to death, I'm pretty sure any half-assed warrior build would work... Though it'd be better if the build was the best it could be, and kick some scrub ass in style.

so if i replaced Whirwind with flail? would that work?

No need for deadly riposte either.
Even if you have enough energy for mark, you're bringing a crappy stance (bonettis) instead of flail, and it really doesn't add THAT much DPS. You certainly don't need or want hundred blades if you're bringing the sunspear attack skill, but you really don't need either. Warriors generally apply damage to one target at a time... if you want AOE damage make an elementalist.
