Question about refreshing pages

i'm thinking it's an ie security setting or something but not sure...

here's the problem: i can read a forum and then close out...load the same forum the next day and all the threads are the same as the day before (same order). if i hit f5 to refresh, then i see what the forum looks like now (same goes for posts within a thread).

i posted a thread, then the next day (after refreshing each page) looked for it and it was gone (10 pages...i saw threads that were closed before i even posted that one)...i messaged inde (because i didn't know who the sardelac mod is) and he replied with a link to it and said that it was clearly visible on page 2. i checked the link and there it was...then i tried to find it on the forum and still couldn't (only tried 4 pages this time).

is there some vital cookie i'm missing or something?

Well it's a cookie issue, it could be with VBulletin or it could be with your own computer. Can't really say what it might be though. Maybe someone else can give more insight.
