For the past couple of days, I've been getting this error every time I open a forum page in www.guildwarsguru.com. As soon as the page loads, it will refresh to this error message. If I hit the back button, it will load the forum page then go back to this error message.

The only way that I can view the fourm, is hit the back button and when it loads, start hitting the stop button to stop it from loading the banner or popup.

I know this site uses banners and or popups so I don't know if there's something wrong with banner/popup plug in. I'm sure it's not happening to everyone but right now I can't even view the forum because of the problem

This is the first I've heard of this problem. I haven't seen any other reports. We don't use popups on Guru so not sure what could be causing this problem for you. Let me know what browser you are using and in the meantime if anyone else has this problem please post or email me at [email protected]

Same thing happens to me at my Grandparents house.

I posted something on GWOnline, and I can't remember if they fixed it.

But yeah, its really annoying 'cause it only affects GWG

It still happens however not as often. I think it has something to do with the ad serivce you use. Meaning, if it can't load the banner for the add, it refreshes with that error on my computer.

I have Windows Vista and using IE7.

i get a simular problem.

when i press Back, at ther bottom of my browser is says opening

But doesnt openanything, and comes up with a error message.

but if i press back again it goes back to guru, so i ussualy have 2 press back twice wen i want to go back.

onerrabbit, that's the exact problem that I had. I would notice that when the banner at the top was having problems (i.e. wouldn't load) it would have that link at the bottom of my browser and then get redirected to the page that I posted.

I think I've fixed it though. I was looking through my Add/Remove programs on my computer and I came across a "redirect program", can't remember the name. This is a brand new computer (Gateway) so I'm assuming that it was the normal crapware that they ship when you buy a new computer. I didn’t think it was my computer since I could have sworn that I was browsing the website after I got my computer, I guess I was wrong.

After I uninstalled, it I haven't had a problem (so far a couple of days).
