Viz Square Mission: Please Delete. Seriously.

I played visuna square maybe some 20 times in the last year, the most recent time just today and I never once witnessed those bugs. It is one of the most fun missions in cantha and should not be removed.

When I said to not aim for masters, I meant to not watch the clock, and not try to hurry if you think you're falling behind schedule for your time target. It's a matter of keeping your cool and staying focused on keeping Mhenlo, Togo and the other team's healer standing. If you avoid falling into the mental trap that V Square tries to lure you into, the odds are that you'll get masters anyway.

Get rid of this mish.... lol NO WAY! It's total insanity and the best fighting mission in the game. I hero/henched this on HM and got masters with no problem so idk what the OP is talking about. If Togo or Mhenlo get stuck, just do it over again.
It's a rare occasion that they do get stuck as I've done this mish ... oh, about 40 times and have only seen it once.

/notsigned, have done this mission dozens of times and no bugs and get masters almost always. Only time you don't is if you don't have enough firepower and you spend a lot of time in one area killing, but never a need to rush through this to get masters.

The only "bug" I hate is getting a PuG on the other side. Most of the time I'm WISHING for a Hench group.

I actually just love this mission with almost every character class, but it’s especially fun with a fire ele, blasting left and right, constant panic, dodging, frying! So exciting! Sure, a couple of my survivors died there, but I don’t blame the mission for that. I know what I am in for when I do it.
But Togo and Menlo getting stuck? That would be handy if they got stuck off someplace safe, but I have not experienced that issue yet nor any of the other above mentioned ones.
The distress I have is that I get “Invalid target” when I try to res. the other teammates who have completely fallen. They beg my monk for help and I have to sadly explain that there is nothing that I can do, which is a feeling that I don’t care for much. However, I am sure that that is not a bug, but a built in part of the game.
What I love the most about this mission and most of the Factions missions is that they are timed, meaning that everyone wants to make them as short as possible and when you are in them, you don’t have time to think.
These are much better (in my opinion) than long drawn out missions of the other campaigns where you have to do the bonus, which makes the mission last even longer (as in many prophesies missions). Or the worst missions ever, which are the ones where you have to kill group A, and then identical group B, then group C, etc. where it’s really boring. Defending Champian’s Dawn and master’s reward in Venta Cemetary are a couple of dull ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Sorry Flu, I have no idea what you're talking about.
It's probably one of the best missions Guild Wars has. You can't just have bad luck a few times and then start ranting about how something sucks. Thats how we get these "ANET Suxxorszz!!1@" threads..

The mission is quite doable, even with H&H, but yeah I agree the bugs like NPC's getting stuck when you're going for masters is quite annoying. To be honest, I'd be happier if they'd just delete all of Factions. Pretty much the entire concept of the chapter is flawed in some way, from pointless town ownership, to coop missions (99.999% of the time with hench counterparts), to the lazy design of mission bonuses (timed based? bleh), to the wasted potential of alliance battles. I'll give them some credit for trying though. There's definitely potential in some of the ideas, but it just failed miserably. Hey, the truth hurts.
Series
^Factions is my favorite. Although I do agree with town ownership.

Thats because the most groups run through to fast. |
easy solution to them getting stuck is have 1 person hang back a second to kill the 1 afflicted that may spawn and get them stuck.

Look, I know I ranted. I know the after thought at the end of my original post read "or delete it." (As well as the title of the thread. Now that I think about it, I shouldn't have added the word 'delete' in the header since this thread has gotten way more attention than I expected.)
It's a harsh way to go about it, sure. But that's what I was feeling at the time. And I stand by it, no matter what people think of that. Viz Square needs serious revamping at the least. (Although the notion of a replacement mission is a tempting one...
) And like one other person said, people either hate it or love it.
This is by no means a hasty string of sentences that aren't backed up with meaning...so please don't consider this thread an "Omigod Anet Sucks" debacle. I am merely trying to bring to light a mission that needs to be fixed, nothing less. I threw in a bit of my personal anger in there, sure, but the basics of my statement is: Fix the mission.
Some people report that they haven't had any problems with that particular area, others have minor bugs here and there, while others still suffer through every minute of the Square.
I have to admit, even after knowing the ins and outs of Viz Square and having mastered it several times, I dread it. Every time I go in, I dread the mission, not because I feel I'll barely pass it, but because of the bugs that plague my every session in there.
What can I say? I'm not one of the lucky ones. :P
Oh, and as a side note: why is Viz Square so fun? Because afflicted pop out of holes? Because you're attacked from all sides? It never really held any particular joy factor for me. Maybe I just have different tastes.
