Lend me your Ear(s)

Hi and thanks in advance forany help...

I'm totally new to GW and so far am lovin it and finding my way round pretty well but... I have a couple of (probably very dumb) questions:

The 1st is Henchman... I'm still in the starting area I guess... so far I've not seen a single one ok so I've not actually needed one yet eitherlol.... but do you have to be a certain level or outside the starting area to find them?

The 2nd is that reading websites etc I've seen several mentions of pre and post searing but no actual explanation of what they are?

I'm sure I can probably think of other newb questions to ask but these are the 2 most on my mind

The only dumb questions are the ones never asked....I'm assuming you've read the manual already though....

You are in pre searing at the moment (ascalon is autumnal?)...there are no henchies in this part of the game. Get to about lvl 7-8 in this part of the game, do all the quests for the skills, and then take the quest from Tydus. This will take you to post searing, which has henchies, and a tonne of more content.....presearing is a drop in the ocean compared to postsearing, but get the most out of pre because once you go post with a character, you can't go back to it.
