Now, I'm not saying that the new Alliance Battle change to faction rewards are bad. I'm just saying that, in my experience, the people playing them will.
Now that you can ONLY get a good amount of faction if you actually win, any team that looks as if it is going to lose near the beginning will have leavers. We have leavers today, of course. However, I believe that the amount of them will greatly increase. It will probably also lead to the wait for a good team in Etnaran Keys, Grentz Frontier and especially the deep areas to become extended tenfold. As it is less likely for the opposing team to win in these areas, I believe that all the active and experienced players - which this update claims to help - will boycot the opposing sides areas, and maybe even saltspray beach!
As I said, I'm not opposed to the changed. However, I am opposed to what I believe peoples reactions to it will be.

What if there was a scale? Say the further into a territory the better/worse the rewards get depending on which side you're on. Yes, the enemy has an edge, so they're more likely to win, but if you manage to win, you get even more faction.
About the specific update of kills, I think the extra 4 Balt faction isn't enough. If they upped it to 2 alliance faction per kill that'd be better.

You can get 400 Kurzick faction/~3 minutes in other places, so these changes only reduce the number of people who will bother with FA and AB. They should be working to INCREASE faction gains across the board, not reduce them.
Leechers don't care if faction is reduced; they'll just leech more often to make up for it. >.>
