Wurm Farming

I've heard from various sources about farming the desolation with junundu, solo and dual, and while i've tried a few times, the only things i can kill are occasional groups of mandragor. I know one problem is that most wurm farms are in the shattered ravines, but is it possible to farm in other desolation areas. I usually manage to bring the enemies down to ~1/3 health, but my low armor brings me down faster than i can heal and bring them down. Any tips?

if u use the speed buff of the wurm then the skill that does 500 damage it will heal you for 500 health

Use a scythe and group them, that way every 2 hits will charge your AoE knockdown to minimize damage taken.
Not that great in HM though, and NM isn't worth farming. I cleared Sulfurous Wastes NM with it but now that isn't worth it at all, and HM just isn't possible.
