Vanquishing Rewards

How about we get some reward for vanquishing?
Double foes killed as gold isn't much for 1-2hours work
And at that level XP is useless as i have 130ish Skill points and 80ish left to cap
How about a chest at the end that gives you a drop
1k cash
a lockpick
some other drops that are around that value
Or could be like the Treasures in Elona for the level of foe (noob lands give purple and 200ish - high areas give golds and 1k+ )
Just my idea
(ready for flaming as i realise i said Skill Points are useless after you have enough for every elite and people will come and say you can use as hero skill points)

End of clearing chest isnt asking too much, but kind of hard to implement (the chest just appears in front of you?). I love vanquishing but the rewards are too meager. We need more people going for HM, give them incentive.

Fully agreed on the better rewards for vanquishing. I'm 18/33 for Cantha and the rewards haven't even been noticed.

OK chests appearing doesn't happen often lol
But when your char has a birthday a present appears in backpack, same as the New Year Fetival in Cantha so the mechanics of having a reward appear are possible just need whats inside changed and the Name
I'm not asking for 100k per area but just a lockpick or something like that to help in the next area

Sounds very fair - I think either increased money or the idea of 0-3 lockpicks (depending on enemy number) on completion. (Perhaps the lockpicks dropping off the last enemy)
The thought on chests appearing is problematic - no one wants it to appear on Mr Henchies head - Perhaps an idea would be to make one of the locked chests (that may or may not have been opened already) refill and require nothing to open it up. The map could ping the direction the chest is in.

Agreed that the rewards are too small, maybe make it 10x enemies killed as exp and 5x enemies killed as gold or something. That'd make it a bit more appealing.

I´d even cut the XP Reward completely. No one in the right state of mind is going to vanquish with a survivor...and everybody else got enough skillpoints by the time.
Gold Items, Lockpicks and plain money are what is missing :-)

i think we need some kind of change, I agree the XP is useless, what level 20 is gong to really be desperate for it, the gold is not to problamatic, would like to see some kind of drop though

chest would be nice but not minding just think all th eeffort and time used needs a more suitable reward to bring in more hm players, I may even start to pug if there was a large amount in the areas

1 Lockpick per 110 foes is fair and not really exploitable as who's going to VQ a big area just to sell the picks?

ok for one...i HM with my survivor....I havent done ALL of them yet but I have done all the ones on the noob island and three on the main island.
Xp is needed as some people HAVENT got all their skill points and skills yet.

Or, maybe like instead of a keyless chest, something appears in each player's inventory akin to the Coffer of Whispers - something you can double-click and get a random item; like scrolls, tomes, gems (rubies/sapphires/diamonds) or even a random gold item. The item itself could be traded, too.

HM pissed a lot of people off, making it actually worth it to do stuff is a great idea, and while the titles fun and all something of value would be nice ;p a title wont help you save for new armor when GWEN comes out

-If area was not already Vanquished:
1 skill point.
10 experience and 5gold for each foe killed.
1000 experience and 200 gold for each boss killed.
- If area was already Vanquished:
Current reward: 3 gold and 5 experience for each foe killed.

Im going to start vanguishing again once I get my last 16 missions for legendary! But im not looking forward to it as I got fed up when trying vanquishing before.
No real insentive and no humans to help you.

I am really up for this kind of update, somekind of reward chest pop up would be really nice (after you kill the last creep in the area) IF area was not vanquished already (otherwise people could just get wisdom title in no time by vanquishing the places where is little amount of creeps over and over again with the same character)
Just like the Kanaxai's/Urgoz's chest, but 0-2 inscriptable gold items from the chest (+ some cash would be nice 0g -2k)
example: Vanquish an area that has 400 creeps total, reward: open chest and you get 2k gold and 2 (or even 3 ? ;o) inscriptable gold items IF the area wasn't already vanquished for every person in the party (counts only human players of course)
another example: Vanquish an area that has 10 creeps total, reward: open chest and get 50gold and 0 gold items
and final example: Vanquish area that has 55 creeps total: reward: open chest and get 1 inscriptable gold item and 800gold
Something like that would be nice instead of the only cash and exp reward, most HM people don't need exp reward, + you already get double exp from creeps.

Keep the ideas coming, it's great to see a positive responce to one of my ideas
I agree on the scaling so Shadows Passage doesn't give as many picks/golds as doing Snakes Dance

Not signed for any chest/item/... at-the-end reward (you already get better drops in HM from mobs). Just increase cash reward (10-15g per each killed foe would be perfect). IMHO.
