Hey All,
This movie was a fun project that I've been wanting to do for awhile. The premise is "What if Guild Wars was an Anime series?" and the video is a trailer of a fictional episode.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH......... HEHEHE"
Man that was great, couldn't stop laughing, the music and voice overs reminded me a bit of Dragon Ball Z which I can't stand. The fireplace above people that were yelling was a bit odd though.... and how did you get them into a black background?
I have to admit, best GW movie i've seen (probably because all the ones I've seen so far were music videos of dancing, that gets old fast).

We did some searching through the Internet for JPop music and pulled some random finds. The fireplace was slightly ridiculous, but I think it's fitting in this particular assortment of random.
The black background is a combination of finding some really dark areas in Guild Wars and applying some lighting filters inside the video editing software. So the character models were not "hacked out" or isolated from the actual game as they are in some machinima (I don't think you're allowed to do that as far as Arenanet is concerned). So until Arenanet sends me all their models and says "Have Fun!", we improvise
Glad you liked it though.

Well, machinima is kind of our thing. But we are really trying hard to get Guild Wars machinima more recognition. Machinima produced with other game engines have a much larger audience, but it doesn't make their films any better. We need to keep building our community and encourage more artists to produce quality work (nothing against PvP videos and music videos, but these are not machinima by my definition).
Our next few projects are really going to be focused on involving more members of the Guild Wars community and I think it will help get the word out.

I think it'd be funny.
