a requirement 8 sword?

heya guys,

i havent played on gw for over a year and a half, i brought it when it first came out but other things got in the way, im wasnt a noob, but it has changed so much cos i recently started playing again i notice people pay alot of money for lower requirements, req 9 being most expensive but i have a req 8 max dam gold sword with sundering and fortitude, both of which arent worth much (10/8 sundering and +25, back from when sundering was rubbish). it also has dam +20 below 50%.

just wanted to know how rare this was, i have had some people say there is no such thing (which isnt true ha ) and others say that you can get req 7 for max dam even.

is it worth moding out with a 20/20 sundering and a +30 fortitude?
i paid about 2k for it, but could i make a bit of monies?

some help for this would be appreciated

also the skin is crap, so not gonna make mass amounts of money

it'd help to state what kind of sword (ex: gothic sword r.7) otherwise it is hard to judge the price.

um, he stated the req, and it's 20<50.... most likely you won't make any monies from it unless it's a crystaline... you said the skin was crap, so most likely it's something you'll want to sell to the merchant

Let's say modding in general to make some monies isn't the way to go if you want to sell the weapon.

its a sundering gladius of fortitude

tried to put on an image, but it didnt work . ill look up how to do it sometime.
so if its not worth improving it?

a req 8 20<50 gladius should proberly just go to the merch

merch, or give it to some starter in ascalon to make them super happy. maybe "back then" max damage req8 swords weren't as common, so they were actually being sold for a few k, but now they're pretty much worthless.

You'll probably be able to sell a q8 perfect item whatever the stats/skin for at least a couple of k if you're desperate.

If you don't need the gold then merch/give away.
