The Black Hand Gang [BHG] and The Black Helm Gang [BHeG]

Depends. :P

P/E can be interesting for conjuring elements for extra damage, etc.

P/Mo is useful.. sort of.. but lots of Paragon skills mimic monk skills, so it'd be okay but not interesting. Unless you were going to smite! Judge's Insight maybe.

Dervish and Mesmer are not crap. You were misinformed. Just try them each out. You'll see when you swing that scythe how much massive damage you're doing as a dervish. Or, how well you can mess with a monster's (or another player's) game while stealing energy, interrupting, degenning etc as a mesmer.

Have a good day!

Any spellcaster secondary for a paragon won't be that effective due to the paragon's crappy regen. My suggestion is use warrior and utilize some their shouts in the tactis line("Watch yourself!") and possibly a few stance as well. You could use some energy management from the mesmer line to make that choice more effective.
