Aggressive Refrain can be maintained with "They're on Fire!" for a net cost of 3 energy every 10 seconds in this build(@14 Leadership), or even less with some careful timing. Frenzy costs 5 energy every 8 seconds, and doubles damage received. Why would you waste a slot on +8% IAS when it doubles damage received and costs more than double the energy/second when the role of this build is to prevent damage to the party? If you are targeted and fall, the party loses their support. I am not trying to flame here, but Frenzy is just bad here, and not worth it, IMO. YMMV.

You don't need Anthem either, They're on Fire! is maintainable with a little bit of a net energy gain when spammed at 12+ Leadership.

Yea, i have to agree, this is an awesome build though, I do use a couple different skills. I henched/heroed through NF and factions with this, it was an absolute breeze. Though, with the 100% adrenaline cap, I know that focused anger can totally be replaced with "For Great Justice" now with the buff and save an elite slot for which i usually use Solder's Fury or Stunning Strike. I always couple this with an SF spammer and an MM too seeing htat GftE applies to minions for more damage . I'm at rank 9 sunspear btw but only a supporter of the luxons =P

I've started using this build and find it quite interesting. The only issue is, as previously mentioned, the fact Anthem of Flame won't activate Spear of Fury.
I quite like "Go For The Eyes" due to the increased chance of a critical, but maybe that's not really necessary. It would let you put those command points into something else!

I have rank 4 of them luxons and "Save Yourselves" is not displaying properly, i dont know if its just me, but the skill activates and i donĀ“t see the icon on the effects monitor.
Stormlord Alex
Because... you don't.
"Save Yourselves!" affects everyone else apart from you.

Well... that explains it thanks

I have been using a very similar build on my Paragon for a while now.
The differences between mine and the OP's are:
1) I replace Anthem of Flame with Signet of Return since I always bring along a SF hero anyway.
2) I only have Leadership at 14, using all minor runes (except superior vigor of course)
3) I use a furious spear head for better adrenaline gain
4) I have a SS rank of 10 and K/L rank of 3, although a SS rank of 8 should suffice. I am too lazy to grind my K/L rank further and having K/L rank of 4 gives the same 4s duration for SY anyway.
5) This build is awesome and I have enjoyed it very much and, at the same time, trying to convince people that Paragons are indeed one of the most powerful class with this build but all I got in return was lots of "LOL".
Spear Mastery 8+1
Leadership 12+1+1
Command 10+1
Build string for my build: OQGjUimKKTlepbubWYAh9YieybA

FWIW: One thing that I have managed to do to get a better chance on Spear of Fury getting the conditional bonus is pairing him up with a MM with Death Nova.
This has proved very successful in hard mode (Vanquished all of Shing Jea Island like that in the last couple of days), as minions don't necessarily hold up well. Gives me the ability to poison them, add more degen, and almost a guaranteed spear of fury getting the adrenaline.

Whirlwind Attack and Cyclone Axe will charge all of your other adrenaline skills if 3-4 targets are hit, while under Focused Anger. It's a LOT more spammable adrenaling gain than Spear of Fury, and does a LOT more damage.
(Leadership is pointless past 14, since TNTF will already last longer than its recharge, and ToF scales poorly. You might as well take the additional massive damage instead.)
For ToF, bring an SF hero or two. Who doesn't use SF Heroes nowadays? Zinger, even though your suggestion would have more damage and adrenaline that is not the main focus of the build.
The main focus is party protection using damage reduction through ToF and TNTF and +armor through SY. At least that was my motivation when I created my version (dont want to comment on the OP's). Notice that my version only has just enough spear mastery points for my spear, relying on spear of fury to help charge up my adrenaline.
Because the Paragon plays a crucial role for the protection/support of the entire party in this case, it makes more sense for her to stay in the backlines away from the fray. That said, you can still have a melee Paragon hero with Gfte and shouts to synergize with yours but only you can use TNTF and SY, which are important for this build.

Plus, being at ranged makes it a lot quicker to switch targets. I know when I go back to my Warrior after playing my Paragon a while I lament the fact I need to run up to guys before I can start putting on the hurt.
Frostblood
I'm upset. They nerfed "There's Nothing to Fear" - now it's 20 seconds recharge and even with 16 leadership, that's 8 seconds of downtime
ump
I'm also really upset. There's Nothing to Fear was just about the only reason I even bothered using my paragon again. It's really the only decent skill paragons have anyways. I might have to try Echo with it, but I'm afraid it's going to be too energy intensive considering I lose both Focused Anger and Save Yourself which both help out a lot with energy. It's probably time to shelf the paragon again, a shame because it became by second favorite character since TNTF came out.
Ninian_Grace
This build is incredibly strong! I have survived all of Elona, Cantha and doing eye of the north right now. (900k experience without dying...and going for legendary survivor)
too bad I only have rank 1 in ''friend of kurzicks title''. anyone has a better/faster way to get factions...besides ABing? I'm more of a PvE Player so...
and yes Paragons are ''under-rated'' and not much people know about this build.
oh and btw, I am new to this forum. could anyone PM me how you list a skillbar? with the images and description of the skill.

So is this build still good even though anet nerfed it so I think it can only last like 12 seconds out of the 20 recharge time?
Thinking of re-making paragon to go for legendary survivor and a bunch of other titles. But it seems like everytime they get good skills anet nerfs them. Even though I don't understand what's the big deal about pve balances. I thought the whole point was to give pve players good skills to use since they nerf everything that's good from pvp imbalances.
