I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this question, but I can't find a really fitting place, so I'm posting it here, sorry =)
I'm trying to lure a friend of mine into GW and I got him prophecies trial key. PvE is nice and stuff but I want to show him a bit of PvP as well. As far as I recall it was possible some time ago to create A PvP character, take a pre-made build and go fight in RA to earn faction and unlock new skills. This feature seems to be gone for good.
So... Is PvE the only way for trial account to get some skills for PvP usage or am I missing something?
PvP on a trial account?

yes you can create a char....fight in RA....and unlock some skills
nothings change dother than you get set skills instead now, d ziashen to get as much faction as you want anyway

Oh, Ziashen challenge. totally forgot about it.
That's just the stuff he needs to get a taste of PvP without hearing about Noobs and stuff ^^
Thanks, man. =)

Mr. G, I don't think he could join a guild, he might be able to be a guest, but I'm not totally sure on that, I think we tried to do that before and it didn't work.
Definitely take him to Ziashen Challenge.

I think trial accounts can do anything, but they just have a time limit. Also, his account stay, he can buy real guild wars later, and continue playing IIRC.
