lately ive been using a ra/d build, that constantly spams barrage but...its not fun, i was wondering if there is a ra/d build that uses a scythe instead of a bow? I cant really think of anything to use with it..., can someone please ping me a build taht uses a scythe instead of a bow, and doesnt use escape?
(i dont wanna use escape anymore, all my builds use it, its boring!!!)
hey can someone help me with this...

[skill]Rampage as One[/skill] used to synergize well with Scythe builds on a ranger, but I don't think it works that well since RaO got nerfed, although to be completely honest I haven't tried.

Uh, just do the Barrage + Splinter weapon as R/Rit.
OR GFTE! + Barrage R/P
OR ... just don't go scythe. And drop the /D
Not much to do with R/D...
cheers.

Use this:
R/Mez
Expertise-16
Marksmanship-14-15 your choice
Inspiration-rest
Ether signet
Whirling defense
Glass Arrows
Point Blank Shot
Zojuns Shot
Needling Shot
Lightning Reflexes
-Whatever skill you like (Rez Signet)
Bow: +15% dmg -10 Armor while attacking +5 Armor
or Vampiric Bow of Fortitude or both of those even.
Armor: whatever works best
Build looks lame but puts out consistantly heavy damage and with mostly energy upgraded armor is unstoppable against single targets more often than not.
I use it in Random Arena usually to a reasonable effect in gaining faction since kills are typically made by this builds sheer speed and power.
While there is no healing on it I determined Random arena matches are so quick in general that if I or my team cannot put out enough dps to kill the intended target.
Chances are the match is close to lost anyways with or without a Monk on our team and surprisingly this tactic works well.
Truly a Glass Cannon this build.

(i dont wanna use escape anymore, all my builds use it, its boring!!!) I don't have the R/D combo, but here is something you may like to consider:
Scythe Mastery: 12
Expertise: rest + rune + headpiece (if you want to change from marksmanship)
Wilderness Survival: 10 + rune
Apply Poison
Reap Impurities
Wearying Strike
Melandru's Resilience (e)
Troll Ungent
Chilling Victory
Rending Sweep
Rez Signet
Since you don't get any benefit like a Dervish does with enchantments, Expertise will reduce the energy cost of each skill I listed. MR will fuel your health regen and energy gain with each hex and/or condition you are suffering. Reap Impurities will come in handy when you use apply poison, and rending sweep is good when you are suffering from a hex. Wearying Strike is for inflicting yourself with weakness (lowers your normal attack, but not skill damage - save for the -1 to all attributes), but it is good for MR.
You must have Prophecies (for MR) to use this build. Again, not tested, but it should be fine (enemy dervishes love to inflict conditions), so MR will be better with each condition/hex you suffer from.

The 11+3 and 6+1+1 runes give a 75 HP penalty when you could use 11+2+1 and 6+2 with only 70 HP penalty
