Does anyone know if it is possible to run Guild Wars on a Mac? Is there some type of patch or program to make GW run on it? I have a Vaio and play GW but recently bought a MacBook. If anyone has any information at all, please let me know and post a link for a download for a program if you know of one. Thanks

At this time, PlayNC has no intention of releasing the game on Mac.

And there have been many attempts to make the game run with the Mac OS switcher, but the results always seem to be problematic. This is due to the lack of stability in Mac drivers more then anything else.

Try Bootcamp if your macbook has an intel chipset and running OS X Tiger v10. You'll need a copy of win xp as well. Check out the link: http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/

A friend from work did run GW by bootcamp, it worked but its not 100% emulated. Eg: sounds skip, graphic errors and such. Try it out if you want to, but don't blame me if anything blow up.

BootCamp is the only way (bootcamp does not emulate, its 100% windows.)

I wish they would just make GW2 Mac compatable.

Bootcamp and windows is the answer, with those you'll be able to play GW on a mac. Since you just bought your macbook, i assume it has an intel processor/chipset so bootcamp and windows shouldn't pose any problems.
