how to beat hard mission
syrus warrior
Once you get to through ascension and you get to the mission town, how the hell has anyone beaten that mission, its nearly impossible. The mission where every 2 minutes the guys get revived and you have to take on 6 different hoardes of guys and the ghostly hero follows? How is this possible and any strategies would help.

I believe you are talking about thirsty river mission.
What we did with the group I was in was to snipe all the patrolling foes before entering an arena. The counter does not start until you get into an arena, so don't bring the Hero to the gates until you snipe out the patrolling foes. This saves you time to go and kill the Priest to stop resurrection.
You have to co-ordinate and first kill the foes outside and then move for the priest. Leave the Boss last. The only problem is when the boss is a Healer. You should have someone to interrupt the boss in order to stop the healing. You should time your attacks and know when you should start attacking the Priest.
PS. I am not an expert in PvP (this is basically a PvP arena) but this seems to be an effective way to get through.

I see so many people having problems with this. I count myself lucky. First try, not a single person in our group even died. Nope, we only had one level 20 person, not all of us. I had no problems, and enjoyed it alot.
We just went after one group at a time, then once we killed them, we didn't bother attacking anymore.

I had no problem with Thirsty River either. First try here. HOWEVER, everyone else in my group was shedding tears of emote joy, and saying how much everyone loved everyone else. I didnt get it. Then I found out 3 of them had been stuck here for like 3 days, one guy 5. A little more querying of the community and the horror stories began to flow forth....

River hasnt got me stuck because I cant get to it. Dont know were it is on the map, dont know were to run.
I got stuck on elona. But the dunes was easy.

You hae plenty of time as long as you pick one way to go ie left or right and dont aggro the whole lot of them. You should be attacking hte priest by 1:15 at least if you flow well as a group.

Take on 1 group at a time and don't aggro any of the others.
On the second gate (one with two groups) it is possible to take out almost everyone with ranged attackers, just make sure whoever has the ghostly hero tagged doesn't go to the door and start the timer.
For each group, start hurting them but don't kill them until a two minute mark, then when you have only a group left + boss and priest, ignore everyone and jump straight to the priest and kill him so that he can't ressurect. Remember each priest is only tied to two mobs.
P.S. * The teamwork needed to complete the Crystal Desert missions is nothing compared to some of the ones in Southern Shiverpeaks and the Ring of Fire Islands.

heres how we did it... For every group we Killed a group of 3, then went straight for the priest... then killed the rest, and the boss last. once you beat the first part you'll want to start timing your attacks, We usually time it 10 seconds before the timer respawns them (7:50, 9:50, 11:50, etc) just to get a little head start. once you get into the third area... i'd suggest taking them out counter clockwise because the left group is the hardest (boss healer) but dont worry, you should have enough dps to take out the priest even with the boss healing. Dont agro any extra groups and if you mess up, just back off.. stay alive and wait for the timer again.

Just finnished it today, the last part is easier then the 2 teams before because they are alot further apart.
Just take them in order, kill the first group then kill there preist.. then go to the next and then the next.
The hardest mission for me was Elona... Dragons lair isnt hard at all so dont worry about taking forever to ascend.
Heyah! Im ascended exactly 2 weeks from starting the game. And that Includeds waiting for a friend for every mission I did (But not dunes and river)
