Starting Up

I stoped playing GW about 5 months ago and I would like to pick up playing agian. So I installed GW:Proph and everything went fine. I logged in and chose a character to play on. I have to load over 12K files which will take forever. That is also only for GW:Proph. What will I have to load for Factions and Nightfall. Is this a problem or do i just have to let all 12k files load?

I suggest using the image command. Use search to find some quick guides on it. Itll download all the game files for you OR you could leave the game on for the night which should get most if not all the files.

To use the -image command line, right click on your GW shortcut. The shortcut path you'll see should look like this: "C:\Program Files\GUILD WARS\Gw.exe" (it will be different if you chose another installation directory than the default one). Modify the shortcut path so it looks like this(that's if you chose the default installation directory):"C:\Program Files\GUILD WARS\Gw.exe" -image. Let the game run through the night. The next morning, remove -image from your shortcut path and you can play the game without having to download everything.
