and I'm using the nvidia one, I've done ALOT of re-textures for Oblivion and back in the day Morrowind.. I just use Texmod with the dds nvidia plug in and photoshop

hrm can you make a mod that will take the clouds out of the M map? would help those trying to go for Cartographer...or even if you could make a Map that has a Red Line around the exteriors of all the areas. Would be easier for me to find that 2% i am missing :P

Also what are your settings on the logging screen for Texmod please?
I'd like to doublecheck my settings. I don't remember running into this issue when skinning stuff in NWN :/

I have a few queries:
Since armour modding isnt permanent, is their any point doing it? Since as soon as you change armour, you have to restart the client. Also, are weapons affected if you change them like armour or are the changes made to weapons permanent?
Is it possible to mod audio?
And finally what differences does exporting in DSS make?

If they sanctioned it then they'll have to unban you. They did say there would be no support for crashing your game, but to ban you for doing something that they said is fine would just be going beyond the pail and I would totally boycott for your cause.

Would it be possible to change the particles the come out of the Icey Dragon Sword? One of the things I'm looking at is being able to take the flame particle effects from the Fiery Dragon Sword, turn em blue, and just replace that with the old Icey Dragon Sword one.

I am trying but can see no strategic advantage with modding in anyway as a wallhack or chams wouldnt do a damn thing since you have the ctrl key.

PS: also, could gaile say if modding is a bannable offense? After what happened to Imaginos I'm getting scared of doing any more. I only started modding cos it seemed that Anet had nothing against it as long as you don't complain if your client ever crashes.

Gaile, this needs to be cleared up quick! Most of us want to continue with is because we were given an "ok" from the wiki article. Is this gonna get us banned?
The texmod program makes mods that run GW through that program. I guess we need to be careful of the keylogging/3rd party issues.

Is there anyway to make borders of the map be marked by a red line or something to that effect? It would be pretty cool if you could do that!

When i go to download the mod it says its not there. Also can you tell me how i use it once i do download it? Do i need to create a directory structure or what?
As far as another nice mod...not sure if its possible or not...is there anyway to have the ALT key on all the time ..... I often play while holding my daughter and its a pain to have to hold down the alt key to see the chests etc. not sure if you can do that or not....

Aight, this is what I'm looking to accomplish right now:
-Remove the faceplate for the male Obsidian helm.
-Add the faceplate for the female Obsidian helm (this'll be tougher, since I don't have a female warrior).
A problem that I *do* see with this is the monk tattoo armors. Can't you just replace the normal/1k versions with the 15k versions?
...or should I've just kept my mouth shut there?
